    Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer is asking President Barack Obama to extend the presence of National Guard troops on the southwestern border past the June 2011 deadline he authorized in 2010. She also asked that an additional 250 troops be added to the Joint Counter Narco-Terrorism Task Force.

    “I am concerned that when the current mission ends in June, the gains we have made will be immediately lost,â€

    We all know that the presence on Nat. Guard on the border was just a show for this adminstration's political benefit. Has anyone observed or read of any significant benefit of this miniscule effort by our illustrious fools in da gubment?

    Governor Brewer has one tough job and many citizens to keep safe in her State. God bless her.

    National Guard Assists Agents in Apprehending Illegal Aliens

    National Guard personnel helped U.S. Border Patrol agents with the apprehension of 19 illegal aliens, and in deterring suspected contraband from entering the country this past weekend.
