Tonight, grounded planes due to shoddy (and often outsourced)
maintenance, long delays, cancelled flights, and rising fuel
costs are just a few of the problems plaguing U.S. airline
carriers. Today, Frontier became the latest in a series of
airlines to file for bankruptcy.

We’ll have a look at this crumbling industry and whether it
could be better served with more federal regulation. Plus:

* Mexico has become much more aggressive in helping the U.S.
catch fugitives who flee from our country. Three months ago, a
marine accused of murdering a pregnant, 20-year-old fellow
marine fled to Mexico. He was captured yesterday and is now
awaiting extradition.

* Teacher and student safety in schools are in the spotlight
after an attack in Baltimore where a student continuously beat
her teacher to the ground. We’ll have a full report.

* Members of Congress are fighting to deport thousands of
criminal illegal aliens, but some countries are not willing to
take them back. In the last two months, eight countries have
refused to take back more than 139,000 illegal aliens that have
committed crimes in this country.
