Despite vicious personal attacks from Reid and his supporters, Republican candidate Sharron Angle remains in striking distance of the Senate majority leader as the general election draws closer. In fact the latest Rasmussen survey showed them in a dead heat with both at 48 percent.

On Wednesday Angle received the endorsement of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC. ALIPAC president William Gheen is angry that Reid recently announced plans to insert the "DREAM Act" into the Defense Authorization Bill in an attempt to give what amounts to amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants under the age of 30.

That is one reason why Gheen says ALIPAC is endorsing Reid's Republican opponent.

"Sharron Angle is putting out a commercial criticizing Senator Reid for his support for Social Security and other taxpayer benefits for illegal immigrants," says the ALIPAC spokesman. "We feel that Angle's new commercial -- combined with Reid's support for the DREAM Act amnesty -- will send his numbers beneath Sharron Angle's, and he will never recover by November 2.

But Gheen is concerned about how much damage Reid can do before the people of Nevada bring him home.

Great! I think this will help Angle to push it over the edge and send Harry home for good.

I think many people here in Nevada that have the will and they means are watching his every move...He tried a closed door session just a few days ago with his illegal supporters and etc. Now in years past that would have happened and no mention of it would have been made...but not this time... he has made many enemies.

Here in Nevada , very few of us have seen Sharon Angle or seen her on TV

Sure we know what she has said and we got a huge dose of Harry's spin on what she has said

In the last couple days Sharon has been all over Fox news and now the people really get to see her and hear her views

She is smart , articulate and has more than half a clue
Fox also invited Harry but he won't go near Fox news

With her opposing the dream act and getting good face time at least on Fox , I bet by next week she is 5 or more ahead of dingy Harry

Good ole' Harry has been spreading falsehoods and slander around for a while on her and she hasn't had the money to fight it..But she is finally starting to get help from many sources. The grand ole' party has also taken their sweet ole' time helping her out in this campaign...

Still all and all in the end she is still a politician. But at this time she is the only game in town...And Mr Harry has been there for too many years living off the fat of the land...and working against us and for special interests on both sides of the isle.
