Notice all the scare stories from the special interests who know that even if the no-match letters are ever issued, they won't do much as was revealed shortly after Chertoff proclaimed this alleged "crackdown."

Still, symbolically and psychologically at least, it would be good if the no match letters are allowed to go out.

The federal judge who will decide how to proceed tomorrow is
Judge Charles R. Breyer, US District Court, Northern District of California:

    Monday 10/01/2007
02:30 PM (r)C-07-4472 AM Federation of Labor & Congress of Industrial Org v Michael Chertoff
    Motions for Preliminary Injunction
(P's, Chamber of Commerce, et al., UFCW)

BTW Charles Breyer is from San Francisco, was appointed by Clinton, and is the brother of Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer.

Well we might stand a fighting chance in appeals court. OMG it would go to the 9th circus huh? well, I don't think the Supreme Court will stop us from enforcing this law.
