MCSO finds children, without parents, being smuggled
by Jim Cross/KTAR (March 28th, 2012 @ 1:35pm)
Two smugglers are in custody and 22 illegal immigrants -- including two small children -- have been rescued from the dangerous world of smuggling.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said the 5-year-old and 6-year-old brother and sister were found inside the smuggler's vehicle on Tuesday night.
The children told investigators that their parents did not accompany them into the United States, neither of them knew what state they were to be taken to and the other illegal immigrants were complete strangers to them.
"This was a troubling act of recklessness to place these young children in a position like this," said Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio in a press release.
In total, two vehicles were stopped. Persons in those vehicles led law enforcement to a Mesa drop house, where the two smugglers were arrested.
MCSO has arrested about 70 illegal immigrants in the recent past, including those found Tuesday.

I wouldnt send my dog with smugglers/criminals...but these people send their Flesh and Blood children!..Then they cry "If ICE pick me up, my children will go to foster care" GREAT, they're better off!
