Monday on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Univision news anchor Jorge Ramos said America was becoming a “hostile and even dangerous country for refugees and immigrants.”

Ramos said, “I think the United States is becoming a hostile and even dangerous country for refugees and immigrants. We have a long history of being accepting of immigrants from countries where they are fleeing violence and poverty and lack of democracy. I think that’s precisely what the United States is. At the end, Tucker, I think it’s a matter of deciding what kind of country do we want to be.”

He added, “It seems at this point that we are talking about a few hundred refugees and putting it in the 65 million refugees that are in the world, the United States except and only 84,000 in 2016 and this is going to be even less. So it’s a matter of deciding what kind of country do we want to be.”

About time Americans stood up for themselves. Are we supposed to wait until we are totally overtaken and bankrupt to close the border from criminals and overbreeders on our dollars? Only so many people can enter and they all need to be legal entries. No sneakers, artificial "fears" and birth tourists. Cut the visa workers by 50% too - put Americans back to work instead of foreigners.

$57billion for ESL teachers, another 50 billion for anchor "birth costs" only, not counting schooling, healthcare for 2 decades coming. How many billions spent on free healthcare for illegals via medicaid? And Medicare don't want to pay this, that for our seniors!

When will they stop this scam? Do we need years of reports, then approach congress for another few years stall. What! - should have been clarified to one citizen parent only on day one.

Why does Tucker continue to have Jose Ramos on his show? We all know what he will say - a lot of BS. Who is feeding all those asylum seeking illegal aliens? We cannot let those people stay. I saw where Pense toured the border and said we would get around to all the little darlings who are determined to get in here. I AM SOOOO FED UP WITH THIS CRAP!!!!!

A lot of the people Tucker has on are complete left-wingnuts. He exposes them for what they are. But in that, he is giving them exposure to a larger audience than many have which only helps them. As has been mentioned, that comedian (?) on the WH Press convention this weekend was pretty much unknown. But the bad publicity has made her a star. Remember "I don't care what they say about me, just make sure they spell my name right!" It works.

I don't know why Pence was there. He should have never said what he said about eventually letting them in. He should have just kept his mouth shut.

Hmm, refugees and immigrants. Why doesn't he mention illegal aliens? Those are the people most, if not all, of our hostility is directed towards. Oh, wait, I think he's making a sneaky attempt to lump illegal aliens in with immigrants in order to legitimize them. Also, I think he can fool people into feeling sorry for illegal aliens by calling them immigrants, you know, people who came here LEGALLY after waiting in line.

Legal immigration is a whole other issue, and it does need to be reviewed since we don't need that many people here, but, if I were an immigrant here in the U.S., I would be furious that I had to wait in line and followed the laws to come here and some ass like this guy lumps illegal aliens with legal immigrants, and helping to direct all this hostility towards illegal immigration towards all immigrants, including legal immigrants.

Someone needs to talk to Tucker Carlson and ask him why he doesn't call people out when someone purposely tries to mislabel illegal aliens as immigrants, and putting them into the same camp as people who came here legitimately.

Oh wait, I also think he's referring to the illegal aliens in that stupid caravan who are trying to invade us for freebees and to steal jobs and services that belong to the American people as refugees. I guess he is using both the terms immigrants AND refugees to try to legitimize illegal aliens. What a sneaky slime-ball.

Yes, someone needs to talk to Tucker and have him put a stop to this mislabeling on his show by people who are trying to legitimize illegal immigration.

If Tucker had folks on with the same mindset as he has, it would be a pretty boring show. It's like jtdc said, he exposes their folly. Tucker probably considers Ramos an easy target. ;)
