ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Immigrant advocates are preparing a string of events and rallies this week aimed at convincing New Mexico state lawmaker not to change the state's law allowing suspected illegal immigrants to obtain driver's licenses.

The immigrant advocacy group Somos Un Pueblo Unido, the El Paso-based group Border Network for Human Rights and a group of college students say they plan to lobby lawmakers and share stories of immigrants who benefit from the current law.

The moves come as lawmakers get ready to enter a special session over redistricting and after Gov. Susanna Martinez promised that the driver's licenses issue was 1 of many she wanted state lawmakers to address while in special session. The Republican governor says the law jeopardizes public safety and attracts illegal immigrants.

Where do 'advocates' get off thinking they can pick and choose what laws are or are not applicable to people living in this country?

Can pedophile advocates openly petition that pedophiles be allowed to molest only certain children, and not other?

    I didn't think so.

What rights, or what laws give illegal aliens the ability to say under what laws they can or cannot be deported?

    When an individual state---

When an individual state--- gives an illegal alien a license, in essence, they are lending the support of the United States to that person. He/she can now drive legally in all of Obama's 57 states. Thus they lend legality to the illegal. They force the will of their stare on the other states in the union as they fail to defend the USA and their fellow citizens from the invasion and attendant economic and financial harm.

An illegal, with a license from NM, can now go to another state with cash in his pocket from a job that a treasonous, greedy NM employer gave him for working for less than an American. He can then continue the ritual of invasion. License, apartment, telephone bill--leads to enrollment in almost every activity in the new state.

Do not aid and abet the illegal invasion.Do not take the opportunity away from American citizens to get work.

All this happens when the illegals are allowed to get a license in the few states that grant them.
