    Los Angeles Does It Again!

    Los Angeles's Bureaucrats just can't seem to understand the word "ILLEGAL!" They are not "Immigrants!" Illegal Aliens are migrant workers who come into this country ILLEGALLY! Immigrants come into this country LEGALLY with the intent to become citizens. Most Illegals do not want to become citizens. They only want to take jobs away from Americans - U.S. Taxpaying Citizens - and send the money back to their own country.

    May Day marches expected to draw thousands to downtown LA

    Daily News Wire Services
    Updated: 05/01/2009 07:27:31 AM PDT

    Despite the nationwide furor over swine flu, thousands of people are expected to gather today and march through downtown Los Angeles and MacArthur Park in support of immigrants' rights.

    As many as six different marches are scheduled in the area over the course of the day -- two years after a similar march ended in a clash involving police on one side and demonstrators and reporters on the other. After the highly publicized clash, Los Angeles police regrouped and implemented new policies, resulting in largely peaceful marches last year.

    Today's planned marches include:

    -- ``Full Rights for Immigrant Workers,'' which will begin at 1 p.m. at the corner of Olympic Boulevard and South Broadway, moving north on Broadway to the corner of Temple Street and North Broadway;

    -- ``Immigrant Rights/Legalize LA,'' which will begin at 4 p.m. at Seventh Street, west of Alameda Street, then move north on Central Avenue, westbound on Fifth Street, northbound on Broadway -- converging with another march, eastbound on First Street and then north on Spring Street to City Hall;

    -- ``International Workers Day March to MacArthur Park,'' which will begin at 5:30 p.m. corner of Spring and First streets, then move westbound on First Street, south on Broadway and west on Seventh Street to MacArthur Park;

    -- ``March for Immigrants,'' which will begin at 3 p.m. on South Broadway between 11th and 12th streets, then head north on Broadway, east on First Street and north on Los Angeles Street to the Federal Building; -- ``May First Annual Boycott March,'' which will begin at 4:30 p.m. at Olympic Boulevard and South Broadway, then move north on Broadway, east on First Street and north on Spring street to City Hall; and

    -- ``May First Day of Action in Support of Workers Rights,'' which will begin at 2 p.m. at the corner of Echo Park and Park avenues, then move east on Sunset Boulevard, south on Spring Street, east on Temple Street and north on Los Angeles Street to La Placita.

    The marchers hope to bring attention to the working conditions of immigrants. They will also call on the federal government to stop raids on businesses that employ individuals in the country illegally.

    Much of the region's attention this week has been focused on swine flu, but Los Angeles County's top health official said the disease should not prevent people from attending the marches or other large gatherings.

    ``I don't see any reason not to -- based on what we know today -- not to go go ahead and do the things you would normally do, including the Cinco de Mayo celebrations, the marches, except I would strongly urge people who are sick, or children who are sick ... not to come and participate,'' said Dr. Jonathan Fielding, director of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

    The radical communistic protesters are already trying to shut down the DHS shift to employer enforcement. Nothing surprising here. They will try to overthrow anything that makes them obey the rules.

    DHS will have to ignore this insanity and make a serious effort to go after both employers and individual criminal violators with regular targeted immigration raids if they intend to carry out their lawful responsibilities. If it doesn't it might as well shut down its whole immigration program and let each state and local community develop its own plan to deal with illegals.

    Let Mexico deal with their own.

    It would be great if our law enforcement could pick them all up and drop them off in Mexico and seal the gate.
