08-15-2011, 07:48 PM #11You know john you're probably right they can't use U-Haul or any other moving company since they don't have DL's or credit cards.

DM this is a migration of people to Kentucky and you can believe that for every Atlas moving truck that pulls in here there is as many Ford Windstar's and older Chevy vans pulling in here packed to the top with bed bugs and illegals! David Williams wants them out and so do I. I love it that your posting articles now, don't despair we are HillBillies after all, very resilient and crafty!

Fewer moving into Arizona for sixth straight year
Phoenix Business Journal
Date: Monday, August 15, 2011, 1:29pm MST
1,798 workers were transferred to Arizona in 2010, compared to 1,942 who transferred out.
Fewer workers are moving into Arizona than away from the state, according to a new study done by Atlas Van Lines . In addition, Arizona's inbound and outbound traffic declined in 2010 for the sixth year in a row.
The Atlas Vans Migration Patterns study, which tracks the numbers of workers transferred into and out of states by national corporations, found that 1,798 workers were transferred to Arizona in 2010, compared to 1,942 who transferred out.
Arizona's inbound numbers have dropped nearly in half from the peak year of 2004, when there were 3,616 inbound moves. Each year since 2004, both inbound and outbound traffic to Arizona has declined.
According to the study, the Midwest continues to lose residents, with Ohio having the most outbound moves, followed by Indiana and then Louisiana. Washington D.C. and Kentucky have the highest percentages of workers coming inbound.
Evansville, Ind.-based Atlas Van Lines is a national moving company that specializes in corporate relocation. It is the largest subsidiary of Atlas World Group , which employs nearly 700 people throughout North America.
The Atlas Vans Migration Pattern tracked more than 75,000 total moves in 2010.

Kentucky ranks highest for inbound migrations
By Janet Patton — jpatton1@herald-leader.com
Posted: 1:57pm on Aug 15, 2011; Modified: 4:44pm on Aug 15, 2011
Kentucky in 2010 was the state with the highest percentage, 63 percent, of inbound transfers, according to Atlas Van Lines, which has tracked executive migration through an annual study since 1993.
The state ranks just behind the anomalous Washington, D.C., and ahead of Arizona, Georgia and Maryland in the top five.
According to a survey of human resources executives, Kentucky had 1,189 inbound moves and 843 outbound moves. This is the 10th straight year that Kentucky has been an "inbound" state.
That compares favorably with nearby states: Ohio had the highest outbound migration rate, 65 percent, and Indiana had the second-highest, 58 percent.
Kentucky's stable housing market was cited as one reason companies with a presence in multiple states chose to move people into the state.

FLORENCE, Ky. - It was a strange sight for many drivers along I-75 in Northern Kentucky Thursday morning.
A variable message board owned by Bluegrass Paving was hacked.
During morning rush hour, a message read "nightly lane closures, zombies ahead." This could be seen on southbound I-75 near the route 18 exit in Boone County.
"We called the contractor and the message is now down," said Nancy Wood, Kentucky Transportation Department's Public Information Officer.
Wood is not sure how long the message was up.
This is not the first time a sign like this has popped up along an interstate. There have been similar pranks in Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Texas over the past several years.
Did you see the message? Let us know in the comment section below or share a photo on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/WCPOnetworks?ref=ts .
