Laredo Sector Border Patrol Locate and Render Aid to Lost Individuals

    Release Date: May 26, 2020

LAREDO, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Laredo Sector located a lost individual, with two children, in need of medical attention northwest of Laredo.

The incident occurred during the late afternoon of May 25, after agents received a report of an individual with two children who was lost on a ranch west of Mines Road. Within 15 minutes of searching, agents located the family.

A Border Patrol paramedic rendered first aid to the woman, who was suffering from delusions due to her condition. She was transported to a local hospital via helicopter for further medical treatment. The children were taken to the nearest station, pending their mother’s medical treatment.

The individuals were determined to be from Mexico and in the United States illegally.

All will remain in Border Patrol custody pending the woman’s medical clearance.

Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents, including a paramedic, helped locate and render first aid to a female undocumented alien and her children who were lost on a ranch northwest of Laredo.

Even with the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic, U.S. Border Patrol agents of the Laredo Sector continue to render aid to those in need.

Do not make it easy for them to come back here!
