Rep. Todd Tiahrt, R-Kan., promoted this week an up-or-down vote in the House Appropriations Committee to deny terrorists released from Guantanamo Bay any federal or state support.
He described the issue as especially timely and relevant due to the Chinese Uighar jihadists that the Obama Administration plans to release into the Virginia suburbs.
Tiahrt is introducing a bill called the “No Welfare for Terrorists Act of 2009â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Tiahrt Fights Obama Administration Efforts to Bring Terrorist Detainees to U.S., Provide Welfare Benefits
05/06/09
WASHINGTON—U.S. Congressman Todd Tiahrt (R-KS) issued the following statement following his press conference with Frank Gaffney, founder and president of the Center for Security Policy; Colin A. Hanna, president of Let Freedom Ring; and Rosemary Jenks, director of government relations for NumbersUSA. Tiahrt, Gaffney, Hanna and Jenks spoke of the need to keep terrorist detainees out of the United States and highlighted an amendment Tiahrt will be offering to the FY2009 Supplemental Appropriations bill Thursday. They also discussed legislation Tiahrt is introducing called the No Welfare for Terrorists Act of 2009 that prohibits any detainee being held at Guantanamo Bay from receiving welfare benefits paid for by taxpayer dollars. Tiahrt is a senior Republican on the House Appropriations Committee.

Thank you Congressman Tiahrt. It is outrageous that the Obama administration would even consider releasing them in the U.S. What on earth is Obama thinking of? He is cutting the budget for making our ports and borders secure and he wants to release terrorists among us. IS OBAMA TRYING TO CREATE JIHAD RIGHT HERE IN AMERICA?

I have a suggestion. Send them all to detention in Hawaii. This way they would still be on an island that has many secure military bases and is surrounded by thousands of miles of ocean.
Besides the Hawaiian Senate just passed an Islam Day that would be very welcoming and compatible.
