Tennessee lawmakers are speaking out after new reports that the Biden administration has been flying unaccompanied minors from the border into the state in the middle of the night without notification.

Multiple flights of unaccompanied minors have arrived over the past week in Chattanooga, Tennessee, during overnight hours at Wilson Air Center. The minors are then bused to a variety of locations through contracted tour bus companies.

Local NBC affiliate WRCB-TV broke the story on Wednesday evening.

The videos obtained by the station included a flight that arrived Friday just before 1:30 a.m. local time, with evidence of at least three other flights between then and Wednesday.

“A source with direct knowledge of the operation asked to remain anonymous but tells Channel 3 that approximately 30 to 50 minors are transported at a time, some to reunite with family members and others to go to group homes,” WRCB reported.

It continued, “He says the operation started in Dallas, Texas, but moved to small airports recently to avoid attention.”

Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn expressed concern about the report Wednesday night.

The Republican responded to WRBC’s request with the statement, “Our office has received no information from the Biden Administration informing us of a mass transportation of migrants to Tennessee.”

She continued, “It is absolutely unacceptable if the Biden Administration is facilitating a mass migration without any input or oversight from Tennesseans and the affected communities.”

“I have warned for months that President Biden’s failure at the border would result in a systematic resettling of migrants in our communities, burdening our schools, hospitals, and law enforcement agencies, and bringing an increase in drug trafficking and human smuggling,” he said in a statement to Fox News.

“A new reality is happening in our country — every town is now a border town,” Hagerty added.

Earlier Wednesday, Blackburn had criticized another aspect of the border crisis.

“The border crisis has grown so large that the Biden Administration is sending staff from agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to assist in caring for unaccompanied alien children,” she said in a statement.

The senator added, “The Biden Administration has failed to acknowledge the crisis and is using the federal workforce as a crutch rather than addressing the issue at hand.”

Report: Biden Administration Quietly Flying Migrant Children Into Tennessee; GOP Leaders Blast Administration

According to a recent report, the Biden administration is flying illegal immigrant children to Chattanooga, Tennessee, whereupon they are dispatched to cities across the Southeastern United States. Some of the flights have reportedly arrived in the middle of the night. That news has prompted Tennessee legislators, including both of the state’s U.S. senators and its governor, to express outrage at the federal government.


“Channel 3 obtained video of one of those planes arriving Friday, May 14 shortly before 1:30 a.m.,” WRCB reported. “A second video, shared with Channel 3, shows more children arriving late Saturday night. According to the source who provided the video, a third plane carrying children arrived Friday afternoon. Flight records confirm that a fourth plane arrived early Wednesday morning, May 19.”


WRCB stated that the children who arrived in Chattanooga boarded buses directly on the runway. Two of the buses are reportedly owned by Coast to Coast Tours of East Point, Georgia. A Coast-to-Coast employee told WRCB that the company had a contract with the United States Department of Defense and had previously traveled to Mobile, Alabama, and Atlanta, Georgia, to transport children. The employee said the two Coast-to-Coast buses were headed for Miami, Florida, and Dallas, Texas.

WRCB reported that Knoxville Tours, Little Rock Tours and Malone Bussing Services assisted in the effort at the airport. One source told WRCB that the operation began in Dallas, but was moved to smaller airports in order to avoid being noticed.


LTC Chris Mitchell, a Department of Defense spokesperson, told WRCB, “From what I can tell, these were flights facilitated by HHS. The only support DoD is providing with respect to the unaccompanied minors is land and facilities for HHS to temporarily house them.”


Third District Congressman Chuck Fleischmann claimed, “There has been no indication that the time of day for the arrival of these migrant children is related to anything more than the processing time at the original point of entry border station, confirmation of available shelter, and the availability of the sufficient transports.”


But U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty countered, “It is time for President Biden to be transparent with Tennesseans and the American people regarding where the hundreds of thousands of migrants being resettled in the United States are being sent because they deserve to know.”


Hagerty told Fox News, “I have warned for months that President Biden’s failure at the border would result in a systematic resettling of migrants in our communities, burdening our schools, hospitals, and law enforcement agencies, and bringing an increase in drug trafficking and human smuggling. A new reality is happening in our country — every town is now a border town.”

Multiple airplanes carrying unaccompanied migrant children from the southern border landed late at night on multiple days at Chattanooga’s Wilson Air Center, according to a report from WRCB.


Upon arriving in Chattanooga, dozens of migrant children boarded multiple buses to be transported to various locations.
One of the bus companies that picked up the migrant children said they were sent to the Chattanooga air center as part of a contract with the U.S. Department of Defense. The company added they have picked up migrants at multiple locations across the South — including Atlanta and Mobile.


Over the past months, multiple migrant children have stayed at the Tennessee Temple dormitory in the Highland Park area of Chattanooga. It is unclear how many of the most recent migrants were located to this area.


The act of flying unaccompanied minors to the region late at night has raised concerns on how President Biden is handling the influx of illegal immigrants since the beginning of his administration. Many states have had to provide lodging, funded by U.S. taxpayer money, due to overcrowded processing facilities along the border.


In a statement released by her office to WRCB, Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said she had no knowledge of the activities being conducted. “Our office has received no information from the Biden Administration informing us of a mass transportation of migrants to Tennessee. It is absolutely unacceptable if the Biden Administration is facilitating a mass migration without any input or oversight from Tennesseans and the affected communities,” the statement detailed.


Additionally, the Biden administration has received severe criticism over their policy decisions — which have led to the large increase in illegal immigration. One of Biden’s first actions as President was to stop the construction of the border wall implemented by President Trump.


Further, Vice President Kamala Harris was tapped by Biden to solve the border crisis, but she has refused to visit the area.

Tennessee lawmakers are expressing alarm after videos emerged showing airplanes quietly transporting unaccompanied illegal immigrant children into the state in the dead of night — after the state’s governor told the president last week not to bring them there.
In videos obtained by local station WRCB-TV Channel 3 Wednesday, multiple planes carrying the minors could be seen arriving at Wilson Air Center in Chattanooga in the middle of the night.

In another video posted Thursday, the children, who carried matching bags and appeared to be in their early teens, were put on buses staged on the tarmac.

In total, there were four buses.

The White House did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment on the videos. Nor did the Department of Homeland Security.

Earlier this month, Republican Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee led a group of 20 GOP governors in writing a letter to Biden to urge him to take immediate action to handle the border crisis.

“The crisis is too big to ignore and is now spilling over the border states into all of our states,” Lee and his GOP counterparts warned.
“Allowing the federal government to place a potentially unlimited number of unaccompanied migrant children into our states’ facilities for an unspecified length of time with almost zero transparency is unacceptable and unsustainable,” the group continued.

“We have neither the resources nor the obligation to solve the federal government’s problem and foot the bill for the consequences of this administration’s misguided actions.”

Insisting that the border was not facing a crisis, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said in early March that the problems the agency faced should be blamed on the previous administration.

It is the first time that an administration has allowed for migrants to be released without a court date, the Washington Examiner reports.
According to figures released by Customs and Border Protection, only 18 migrants were issued with a humanitarian release in December 2020, Trump’s last full month in office.

After Biden was inaugurated in January, this number increased dramatically to more than 1,300 in one month.

It has now climbed to more than 26,000 a month.

Biden is facing the worst migrant crisis at the southern border in decades.

The Customs and Border Protection had over 178,000 migrant encounters in April 2021, the highest total in a month in two decades.
Despite the shocking surge of illegal migrants crossing the southern border, Biden is pressing ahead with an immigration bill that is set to pave the way for 2.5million undocumented migrants to gain US citizenship.


The American Dream and Promise Act, which was passed 228-197 with nine Republican votes in March, is a key priority for his administration.

Senator Blackburn: Thanks To Biden, Tennessee Is Now A Border State

It's easy to put stories of the crisis facing our nation at a distance when you live and work more than a thousand miles north of the US-Mexico border. But as the effects of mass illegal immigration spread northward, Tennesseans are facing a stark new reality: when our border isn't secure, every town becomes a border town and every state a border state. Perhaps no one understands that better than Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director David Rausch, who describes the crisis as "out of control."


Last week, I had a virtual conversation with Rausch, who leads statewide investigations into human and drug trafficking. Our discussion made it abundantly clear that communities throughout Tennessee are already feeling the effects of cartel control at the southern border. Rausch explained, "The way the border is being handled right now is causing all of us to be border states, [and] we're seeing that in Tennessee."


Border patrol agents and sheriffs began warning officials in Washington about the pernicious influence of cartels and traffickers well before the most recent wave of migrants made their way north. According to Rausch, human smuggling is occurring "in unprecedented numbers" in Tennessee; Rausch also pointed to the unprecedented availability of drugs such as fentanyl and methamphetamines as evidence that the border crisis has evolved into a universal threat. "It is coming across so freely and so readily," he cautioned. "It is a major concern." The knowledge that cartels are abusing Biden's border crisis to profit at the expense of American lives makes the increasing rate of overdoses attributed to the pandemic that much more heartbreaking.


Despite the insistence of open borders advocates, encouraging more illegal immigration isn't an empathetic policy. Instead, it directly puts the fate of women, children, and families in the hands of cartels and traffickers. While some in the current administration refuse to condemn or even witness the atrocities, Republicans in Washington are leading the charge towards tangible solutions.


I am currently working with my colleagues in the Senate to introduce the Make the Migrant Protection Protocols Mandatory Act of 2021, which will reinstate the Trump administration's Remain in Mexico policy. By taking official action to restore mandated migrant protection protocols, limit asylum abuse, and eliminate ineffective catch and release policies, we will enable immigration officials to regain control over the border and stem the flow of illegal entry.


There is no longer any question of shielding Tennesseans from the border crisis fallout. It's too late for that. But through conversations like the one I had with David Rausch, we can learn new ways to respond to this latest, massive push against our southern border. The Volunteer State is all too quickly becoming a border state, and another day of inaction by the Biden administration is another day our communities are at risk.

“Don’t criticize the invasion, welcome them,” they say. They use the poem on the Statue of Liberty to justify and to create guilt. We know the poem has nothing to do with the gift of the statue. Ignorance and/or cleverness pushes the falsehood.

Soros and others, arrive to meddle in state and federal policy on immigration and other matters.

Apathy and inaction by both parties in Washington has brought this threat to our communities. They are feckless as a whole. “America First” is not their goal.

America and the American people are generous to other nations. Our government does not demand accountability. We have a legal immigration system and to allow any illegal immigration disrespects our laws and those who seek to come the right way. If we don’t respect our borders and nation, other will not.

States need to audit ALL taxpayer funded benefits and terminate the illegal alien parents from receiving these benefits.

Make them self deport with their minor children. They cannot leave them here like a box of unwanted puppies and they should not be rewarded for squirting out an anchor baby, that baby is NOT a U.S. citizen.

This video sheds light on Tennessee Governor Bill Lee’s alleged effort in 2018 to authorize housing for illegal aliens in Tennessee. These illegal aliens, largely male, according to reporting in this video are housed at a large facility with fencing and black plastic to hide them from the public.
