Group wants to chip away at ICE

— OTTUMWA — An Iowa advocacy group hopes to prevent local authorities from signing agreements with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
In a press release to select Spanish-language newspapers and obtained by the Courier, Armando Villareal, administrator of the Iowa Division of Latino Affairs, said the 287(g) agreement creates an “environment of mistrust.â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
