Lawsuit filed against Massive Non-Citizen Voting Uncovered in Maryland

Massive Non-Citizen Voting Uncovered in Maryland

    PJ Media

An election integrity watchdog group is suing the state of Maryland, alleging that it has discovered massive and ongoing fraudulent voting by non-U.S. citizens in one county. But because of the way that the non-citizens are able to cast votes in elections, the fraud is likely happening in every single county and subdivision across the state. The group believes that the illegal voting has been happening for years.

The group, Virginia Voters Alliance, says that it compared how voters in Frederick County filled out jury duty statements compared with their voting records. The group’s investigation found that thousands of people in Frederick County who stated that they are not U.S. citizens on jury duty forms went on to cast votes in elections. Either they failed to tell the truth when they were summoned for jury duty, or they cast illegal votes. Both are crimes. The same group previously found that about 40,000 people are registered to vote in both Virginia and Maryland.

It is a federal crime to cast votes if you are not legally eligible to vote. Non-citizens, whether in the country legally or not, are prohibited from voting in most local and all state and federal elections. Yet the VVA investigation found that hundreds of non-citizens have been voting in Frederick County, Maryland. One in seven Maryland residents are non-U.S. citizens.

“The lawsuit is the equivalent of the lookout spotting the iceberg ahead of the Titanic,” state Del. Pat McDonough told the Tatler. He added that the group’s investigation found a voter fraud “smoking gun.”

Maryland state law makes it easier for non-citizens, both those present legally and those in the country against the law, to vote. Maryland issues drivers licenses to legal and illegal aliens. Driver’s licenses in turn make it easier under the Motor Voter law to register to vote. Maryland also offers copious taxpayer-funded social programs to non-citizens in the state.

The group filed suit in Baltimore’s U.S. District Court on Friday. They are suing the Frederick County Board of Elections and the Maryland State Board of Elections.

Del. Pat McDonough (R-Baltimore and Harford Counties) detailed the alleged fraud in a Maryland press conference today. He is calling for a special state prosecutor because the fraud may be taking place statewide, with significant impact on Maryland elections. Maryland currently holds 10 electoral votes in presidential elections. McDonough is also proposing legislation including voter ID to close the loopholes that he says non-citizens are using to cast votes.

In a statement, Del. McDonough says:
There are frequent allegations in America and Maryland about the existence of voter fraud. In the case I am presenting today, there is documentation and a track record. The numbers and facts from the records in Frederick County are the tip of the iceberg. When these numbers are multiplied by including the other subdivisions in Maryland, the potential number is alarming and could change the outcome of a close statewide election.

Even more dangerous is the probability of many local elections that are decided by a few votes could be affected. All 188 members of the Maryland General Assembly are standing for re-election as well as many local office holders.

The important election that we have coming up demands that citizens’ votes are not diluted or cancelled by non-citizens who are not legally permitted to vote. The sanctity of the ballot box, because of the flawed system we are pointing out, has already been violated in previous elections. The purpose of the lawsuit is to mandate those responsible for the administration of the election process will remove the non-citizens from the final voting count. The purpose of the investigation by the special prosecutor is to penetrate more deeply statewide and determine why this fraud or any other related violation was allowed to occur.

The purpose of the legislation is to plug the massive loophole in current law which permitted these fraudulent practices to take place.
Maryland is a Democratic stronghold especially around its larger cities, but the governor’s race there is tightening as Republican Larry Hogan gains ground. Illegal votes could tip the balance if the legal vote is close enough on election day. “What if Hogan loses by 500 votes or 1000 votes?” McDonough asked.

Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley is expected to run for the Democratic nomination for president in 2016. Del. McDonough noted that the fraud uncovered by VVA occurred on O’Malley’s watch.

Virginia Voters Alliance Files Law Suit over Voter Fraud

    • Thursday, October 30, 2014

The following is a press release by Mr. Reagan George of Virginia Voters Alliance regarding voter fraud in Fredrick Maryland.

VVA has filed suit in Federal Court over ”suspected claims that non-citizen voters are playing a significant role in statewide voting processes in Maryland. Specifically, as the deciding votes in recent election outcomes have traditionally been very close, non-citizens who are continually permitted to vote are in a position to dramatically alter and affect the electoral process in the state and nation at large.

FFC contacted Mr. George who elaborated; TheVirginia Voters Alliance was made aware of more than 1,000 names of individuals in Frederick County Maryland who claimed by signing a state jury excuse form under penalty of perjury that they were non-citizens and could not serve on a jury.

These lists were from 2004 thru 2011. There was no indication that any of these names were subsequently removed from the voter rolls in Frederick County.

The citizens of Maryland are ill-served when their official election offices are not required to do their job, but it is exacerbated while the other counties in Maryland do not feel it is important to remove these confessed fraudulent voters from the voter rolls.

It is a violation of the civil rights of the citizens of Maryland when ineligible and fraudulent voters dilute their vote.”
It should also be noted that it was Mr. George and Virginia Voters Alliancethat turned up over 44,000 duplicate registrations in Maryland and Virginia;Read About That HERE.

    Here is the Press Release:

Virginia Voters Alliance Announces Confirmation of Long-Suspected Cases of Non-Citizen Voting in Recent Federal Lawsuit Filing

The lawsuit filed in Baltimore’s Federal District Court underscores the grave issues continuing to plague Maryland’s electoral system and processes – demands action and reform CHANTILLY, VA – October 27, 2014 Virginia Voters Alliance announces today that a Federal lawsuit was filed in Baltimore’s Federal District Court that provides unassailable proof for the long-suspected claims that non-citizen voters are playing a significant role in statewide voting processes in Maryland.

Specifically, as the deciding votes in recent election outcomes have traditionally been very close, non-citizens who are continually permitted to vote are in a position to dramatically alter and affect the electoral process in the state and nation at large.

In this latest lawsuit filing, the Frederick County Clerk’s office admitted that several individuals, despite swearing they are non-citizens and therefore rendering them ineligible to serve as jurors in legal proceedings, continue to remain on the state’s voter rolls.

Their continued appearance on these lists makes it nearly impossible for Maryland law to prevent these declared non-citizens from casting votes in elections and significantly affecting the integrity and outcomes of overall electoral processes. In addition to the serious impacts non-citizen voters have to affect election outcomes, allowing these individuals to register to vote and retaining them in the voter roll opens up the possibility of non-citizens serving on a jury, which could seriously jeopardize a defendant’s right to a fair trial by a jury of his peers.

Under the terms of this latest lawsuit, the United States District Court in Baltimore, Maryland is asked to prevent non-citizens from voting in Frederick County, however it does little to establish processes to guard against this occurring in the state’s other 22 voting jurisdictions.

Based on the number of potential unqualified voters identified in Frederick County, Maryland, VVA has extrapolated the number into densely-populated counties, that have in effect become ‘sanctuary’ cities and counties, to account for 3.5 to 7% of legal voters registered in Maryland. As a state with a significant Democratic majority, these recent incidences, and the continued appearance of known non-citizens on its voter rolls underscore the grave state of Maryland’s electoral integrity processes and approach.

Currently, voter fraud in Maryland is only prosecuted as a misdemeanor charge, a relatively minor punishment alarmingly similar to a wrist slap, nothing more.

To-date, the Maryland State Board of Elections has not been aggressive in investigating and prosecuting duplicate voter registrations and duplicate voters between Virginia and Maryland. This overall apathetic response and lack of action presents further proof that eliminating duplicate and illegal voter registrations are largely inconvenient to policymakers’ agendas.

The Maryland County Council also recently convened a “Right to Vote Task Force,” whose recommendations threaten to further erode election integrity in the state, as well as approve flagrant violations of federal law and the U.S. Constitution if allowed to be passed and implemented. “Maryland as well as Virginia has repeatedly prioritized election convenience by sacrificing election integrity, VVA President, Reagan George said. “Registration forms that only require a checked box to determine something as important as qualifying citizenship is hard to track and is easily ignored or discounted. Proof of citizenship to register should be mandatory, especially when being a non-citizen can impact jury pools and possibly criminal cases. This issue is critical to the future of the integrity of our electoral processes, in Maryland and nationwide.”

About the Virginia Voters Alliance (VVA) Virginia Voters Alliance is an initiative developed by citizens for citizens, meant to inspire and equip volunteers for involvement at every stage of our electoral process. VVA promotes ideas that actively protect the rights of legitimate voters, regardless of their political party affiliation. The Virginia Voters Alliance was formed to provide a trans-partisan, state-wide organization that is devoted to improving the election laws and voting processes in the Commonwealth of Virginia, which would decrease opportunities for voter fraud, and insure open and honest elections for all citizens of Virginia.

Unless we stop voting fraud we will end up third world like and require military troops around voting places, standardized ballots, picture ID, no voting via mail or machines would be a step in the right direction unless we do something voting will become a joke as in North Korea.

Oh yes, this must be stopped and stopped now. All violators and their entire household need to be deported including all legal aliens and families (families kept intact by deportation as a group) who voted in any election, federal, state or local.
