SARATOGA SPRINGS — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers on Wednesday arrested 10 undocumented male adult immigrants and one unaccompanied undocumented minor in the city, an agency spokesman said.

The arrested men, one a Guatemalan national and nine from Mexico, are between the ages of 20 and 49 and face administrative immigration violations, said spokesman Khaalid Walls.

Three of the men are facing potential federal felony charges for alleged re-entry after deportation. All 10 were being held in Albany County Correctional Facility as of Thursday afternoon, Walls said.

The unaccompanied minor was given a notice to appear in immigration court and sent to the Department Health and Human Service’s Office of Refugee Resettlement for placement, which is in line with ICE’s policy regarding minors, Walls said.

Walls would not release further information, citing the ongoing investigation.

On May 30, ICE agents arrested 16 undocumented immigrants in Saratoga Springs, also near multiple homes.
