Mnuchin Says Economy Will Be Fine Without DACA Ahead Of Trump Announcement

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin disagreed with CEOs of major corporations Sunday and said ending the Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals (DACA) amnesty program will not hurt the economy.

President Donald Trump is expected to announce Tuesday what his administration will do with DACA, which he vowed to end on the campaign trail. The program protects roughly 800,000 illegal immigrants from deportation and gives them work permits.

Proponents of DACA have been fretting in the past week that Trump will end the program. Hundreds of business leaders from companies such as Apple, Google, and Marriott signed an open letter Friday urging Trump not to end the program, claiming, “Dreamers are vital to the future of our companies and our economy. With them, we grow and create jobs.”

Mnuchin was asked about the letter on “Fox News Sunday,” and replied: “As it relates to the economic impact, I am less concerned about the economic impact. We’ll make sure that we have plenty of workers in this economy. We want to put more people back to work. There’s a lot of people that left the workforce and our objective is to bring them back into the workforce.”http://dailycaller.com/2017/09/03/mn...-announcement/

It will BOOST our economy by giving those jobs to US citizens taking those jobs and paying into our tax system and keeping OUR money on our soil. It will alleviate our food stamps and welfare costs putting OUR citizens to work.

That, in addition to passing Tax Reform will be a big boon to our economy...bringing jobs back and giving hope to the American people that WE finally have a President looking out for our best interests. We are not the savior of the World...stop this nonsense! Go fix your own country.

Do not forget the remittances in the BILLIONS sent out of our country and not spent on our economy by illegal aliens.

It will free up our overcrowded school system and alleviate our healthcare costs to illegal aliens.

It will free up our overcrowded jails, prisons and court systems costing US taxpayers billions of dollars in costs and law suits.

It will free up our neighborhoods of those illegals stuffing 20 people into one household! Destroying neighborhoods with their drugs, gangs, graffiti, crime and trash. Bring back those neighborhoods and property values paying back into the Local coffers and services. Getting rid of these illegals will free up any housing shortages.

Get them off our welfare and food stamps roles. Alleviate our overcrowded freeways, bring down car insurance rates due to illegals DUI car wrecks and killing our citizens.

Now PLEASE issue an Executive Order to stop issuing US Birth Certificates to illegal aliens, tourists and non-citizens coming here to give birth on our soil. Give them a "Certificate of Child Born Abroad" and send the matter of the 14th Amendment to the Courts!
