Los Angeles Students to Be Taught That Arizona Immigration Law Is Un-American!!
The Los Angeles Unified School District school board wants all public school students in the city to be taught that Arizona's new immigration law is un-American.
The school board president made the announcement Tuesday night after the district's Board of Education passed a resolution to oppose the controversial law, which gives law enforcement officials in Arizona the power to question and detain people they suspect are in the U.S. illegally when they are stopped in relation to a crime or infraction.
Critics of the law say it will result in racial profiling.
The school board voted unanimously on Tuesday to “express outrageâ€Work Harder Millions on Welfare Depend on You!

It's always a good idea to read the comments left by readers if you use the link provided. Los Angeles "thinking" people are not happy about this.

[quote]They said Arizona’s new laws also “severely restrict the education of all children in Arizona by refusing to incorporate vital sections of history that incorporate the contr[b]ibutions of this country’s many diverse groups.â€

I can smell a political strong armed invasion brewing.
You cannot dedicate yourself to America unless you become in every
respect and with every purpose of your will thoroughly Americans. You
cannot become thoroughly Americans if you think of yourselves in groups. President Woodrow Wilson

I met a man who told me he used to teach in Mexico and that their textbooks teach that the United States stole their land. It never teaches the kids that their government was so inept, stupid and corrupt that they lost the war. So, it makes sense that they want to teach this crap. Notice how it's usually an Hispanic that pushes this garbage the most?
So, we teach in Spanish, sing the anthem in Spanish, say the pledge in Spanish, losing our jobs for not speaking Spanish, printing our ballots in Spanish. When I lived in Arizona I got advertising in Spanish only. Just a speck of what is really going on.
Thank Goodness I think the American Citizen is getting fed up.

Yet waving Mexican flags and removing American flags is pro-American?

With a 50% drop-out rate in some of LA's schools it seems they should expend their energy elsewhere.
