Woman Stabs Border Patrol Agent During Drug Arrest

SAN DIEGO -- A woman accused of stabbing a Border Patrol agent in the leg is in custody Tuesday, 10News reported.

The agent was taken to Grossmont Hospital, according to Border Patrol officials.

The agent was stabbed in the thigh while attempting to stop a suspected drug runner Tuesday in Campo, according to Border Patrol officials.

The driver of the vehicle ran away, but the female passenger stabbed the agent as he tried to arrest her, officials said.

The agent's injuries are not life-threatening, officials said.

More than 180 pounds of marijuana was found inside of the car, according to Border Patrol officials.

If the woman is an illegal, send her to jail and then deport her. Illegals are getting violent and we need to get rid of them regardless of what our president says.

This makes me so angry. They have respect for nothing and it's getting worse. There was an arrest in our paper where a gang of them beat up a kid and when the police were arresting them they were kicking and such and one even bit the officer.

I wonder if this is what I saw the other day on my way home.

I hate to say this Becky but most of the smugglers caught here are Americans and usually are low life drugies looking to make some easy money.
