Lou issues a rallying cry to American citizens eager for a
change, focusing particularly on the critical issues and
challenges of the 2008 election.

Tonight, gridlock over funding the war in Iraq. The White House
complains that the Democratic-led Congress won’t pass funding.
The Democrats say that have offered a funding bill, just note
one the White House liked. And Rep. John Murtha accuses the
Pentagon of using scare tactics to draw out the funding.

Meanwhile, Senate Democrats are holding seconds-long sessions
to keep the president from making any appointments during the
Thanksgiving recess. We’ll be following those stories tonight.

A disturbing report from the Department of Defense shows just
how vulnerable sending American computer jobs overseas makes
us. The report says it’s only a matter of time before our
enemies exploit our country’s growing dependence on global
engineers and software. We’ll have that special report.

The Bush administration continues to tout a strong economy, but
middle class Americans feel differently. A new report out today
shows prices for essentials such as gas and electricity have
increased significantly over last year. Join us for that War on
the Middle Class report.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is trying to teach the
A-B-C’s of toy safety as the holiday shopping season
approaches, releasing a list of top safety tips for selecting
gifts. Meanwhile the Health and Human Services secretary is on
a multi-city tour talking up his upcoming trip to take on
product safety in China. Tune in for that story.
