Qualified as a historic event, the leadership of LULAC joins with the leaders of the confederacies and Clubs of Mexicans to form the largest alliance in the country, under the letterhead of Commission for Migrant Matters, LULAC National Commission for Immigrant Affairs (LNCIA).

According to a communiqué the president of LULAC, Rose Rosales, declared that the addition with the largest associations of Mexicans in the country "we will enlarge the number of members of LULAC and it will also give us the direct possibility to send in a more effective way our messages and our initiatives to more people".

In turn Germán Trejo, who has been elected as the president of the commission of the LNCIA for his leadership at the Institute of Mexicans Abroad, declared, according to the bulletin, that this commission "is the start of many projects that the immigrants have dreamed of, this union will fortify us and it will motivate us to push ahead projects that have not been carried out because we have been working separately. The union of associations, of clubs and of confederacies with LULAC will mark a historic event in the latin american community, since the companies will be able to create programs with all these groups through the Commission".

The LNCIA will carry out its first Tri-National Conference at the National Convention of LULAC in Washington D.C., July 10. The Conference will receive officials of the U.S., Mexico and Canada in a board discussion on work, comerce and immigration.
