Maricopa County Sheriff's Office arrests 6 undocumented immigrants in North Valley

PHOENIX - The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Human Smuggling Unit arrested six undocumented immigrants Monday in the North Valley, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s office said.
Sgt. Jesse Spurgin, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office, said the immigrants agreed to pay up to $2,000 to enter the U.S.
They were headed to destinations including Tennessee, Mississippi and North Carolina, Spurgin said.
"I would hope that the officials from these other states would start to help me, or at least thank me, for stopping all of these illegal aliens from entering their states,â€
