ACAPULCO, GUERRERO
Mexican Marines and federal police announced they have arrested the leader of the Independent Cartel of Acapulco (CIDA) and 3 others, including one minor. The leader, known as ‘El Koreano’, retired as an agent of the state police 3 years ago. All four arrested have been flown to Mexico City. He was connected to the killing of 18 from Michoacan which were then buried in a clandestine grave in Tuncingo.-http://www.eluniversal.com.mx/notas/782955.html

TOPO CHICO PRISON, NUEVO LEÓN
Two inmates murdered another because he had not paid his ‘quota’, and owed 550,000 pesos (US $46,838.44). Guards caught them in the act with a shovel. The victim had been in since March 2008.
CHIHUAHUA, CHIHUAHUA
Unknown assassins beat a man to death in the street in daytime, and returned his body to the truck.
