    Posted: 36 mins ago

U.S. Border Patrol agents, along with local and state law enforcement, on Thursday raided a stash house in Palmhurst and found 31 immigrants.

The Texas Department of Public Safety troopers first found 18 suspected unauthorized immigrants hidden within a trailer in Pharr, according to a news release by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Additional information provided to Border Patrol agents led them to Palmhurst, where they apprehended an additional 31 immigrants, also suspected of being in the U.S. without authorization, according to the news release.

Agents apprehended the immigrants at about 3 p.m. on Thursday, the news release said.

The ongoing investigation is being led by the McAllen Homeland Security Investigations Office.

It is never very comforting to see investigations led by Homeland Security. That outfit, created back when, thinks we are secure, while one of its major agencies, FBI, says it is too overwhelming and they need participation from the locals.

Now, knowing that it is impossible to get the truth from HS and that the FBI admittedly lies, what is the signal that we any time get the truth? Critical question, I hope some one can give me an answer!!

Just some more evidence of what voting for democrats and republicans has created! Someone requires changing, the entire area is odiferous.

New details have surfaced from a multi-agency stash house raid in Palmhurst Thursday afternoon.

Federal court records reveal Marco Antonio Sanchez-Dominguez, 32, of Mexico; Edgar Israel Maldonado-Valdez, 38, of Mexico; and Raul Reyes-Valles, 34 of Mexico were arrested in suspicion of harboring or transporting immigrants suspected of being in the U.S. without authorization.

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers
first found 19 immigrants suspected of being in the U.S. without authorization, hidden within a trailer in Pharr, according a criminal complaint.

A special agent first observed three vehicles drop off several people near the trailer, according to the criminal complaint. The agent then saw a man leave the trailer and head toward a nearby hotel. The agent approached the man, identified as Sanchez-Dominguez, who then told the agent he was told to put people inside of the trailer, but did not know how many were.

The agent with help from the Pharr Police Department found 16 people inside the trailer. They also found Maldonado-Valdez and two people inside of a blue Jeep Cherokee parked beside the trailer, the criminal complaint said.

Rojel Saravia-Larin, a citizen from El Salvador who was inside the trailer, told agents there were about 30 additional people who were being mistreated in a stash house, according to the criminal complaint.

Agents apprehended 35 immigrants, also suspected of being in the U.S. without authorization, at the stash house located at 4801 Trosper Road in Palmhurst.

The immigrants were arrested and transported to the Texas Border Patrol Station in McAllen for interviews and further processing.

The ongoing investigation is being led by the McAllen Homeland Security Investigations Office.
