Man's severed head, genitals left outside Juárez church

A man's severed head and genitals were left outside a church in Juárez on Tuesday afternoon.
Chihuahua state police said the body parts were found inside a black plastic bag behind Sagrado Corazón church east of downtown Juárez. The rest of the body has not bee located.
Investigators found a DVD with the body parts, but a police spokesman said he did not know what was contained on the disc.
A spokesman said the severed head and genitals incident was the lone homicide reported as of Tuesday evening. There were two homicides Monday and five on Sunday.

Male's torso discovered in downtown Juárez

A male's torso, possibly belonging to the severed head and genitals discovered Tuesday, have been found in downtown Juárez, police said.
The body parts were discovered shortly before 8 a.m. today in plastic bags inside two boxes left a few blocks south of the Stanton Street bridge at Ignacio MejÃ*a and Internacional streets, Chihuahua state police said.
Police said the unidentified man's body had its arms and legs severed and was missing the head and genitals.
On Tuesday, a man's severed head and genitals were found in a plastic bag left behind a church about a half-mile from the location where the body parts were found this morning.
Authorities said there were a total of six homicides on Tuesday.
