One good place to get started is with Casa de Maryland, but I have no idea how to even go about doing that. We need some type of authority to subpoena their records. Does anyone know of any laws regarding taxpayer dollars and our right to investigate an organization that uses taxpayer dollars?
Casa de Maryland had a representative on a local radio show last month, and they were discussing illegal immigration. The Casa rep said their taxpayer funded organization helps people find jobs, REGARDLESS of their immigration status, and that 3,900 different Maryland employers use their organization to hire workers. Shouldn't we, as taxpayers, have the right to see exactly which employers are using Casa's services to hire illegal aliens, especially since taxpayers fund this organization????
