Mexican archdiocese planning shelters for migrants along bor
TUCSON, Ariz. The Catholic church plans two shelters for migrants in the Mexican border communities of Nogales and Naco.
The Catholic Archdiocese of Hermosillo (aehr-moh-SEE'-yo) says it plans to begin work on the facilities within the next year.
Arizona is the busiest illegal crossing point on the porous U-S-Mexico border. It also is the site each year of scores of deaths among migrants who succumb to the elements while crossing the desert.
The diocese has those deaths in mind as it makes plans for the shelters. It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

Well, that's very nice. In fact, BUILD THEM A WHOLE CITY, BUT JUST MAKE SURE IT'S ON THE MEXICAN SIDE OF THE BORDER!

For some reason I get the impression the shelters are going to be used as rest stops before attempting to cross the border.

I'd like to build a deportation center right next to their new mission!
