RECIPROCITY? OR INVASION?
This past week ,Glenn Spences' website, The American Patrol posted a chilling account of a Mexican military chopper making a hostile landing 10 plus miles inside the borders of the United States. However the MSM never pick up on these incursion accounts. That doesn't surprise me though.
My first experience seeing armed Mexican military on this side of the border was shock and I have spent years along our Southern border. The locals in Terlingua and Lajitas didn't seem overly concerned, content as they still are to keep their mouths shut about anything, fearful of drawing attention to themselves.
I posted a link to this account at the Ranch Gazette and was discussing the story with an friend when he said something that made me begin to think. I cannot believe that I did not consider this myself. He had just returned from Arizona where he participated in the Arizona Minutemen Project and he posited that the Mexican government had an agreement of reprocity with the United States.
Now it is common for counties in most states to have agreements with adjacent counties in order to provide law enforcement and emergency services to remote areas of those counties where the adjacent authorities are closer than their own.
Now I have been thinking about this quite a bit. An Agreement of Reprocity with Mexico. Hmmmm..... Mexico, a country which was forced to send in troops to combat the drug element in Nuevo Laredo, well known for it's civil rights abuses, not only against it's own populace but decidedly so against gringos (Anglos from the U.S.) visiting its domain.
Mod edit to add rest of article .. compelling information: Hey Charles ..sure you don't mind.

-snip[b]-"We live two miles from the border, and only a quarter-mile from a border station," the mother said. One day, while we were loading horses, the Mexican army showed up on our property. They were in uniform and wearing badges. And they were armed."
What was Mexican military doing on Arizona soil? Running drugs. We also were told that young girls are smuggled across the border for child-sex -purposes. snip-Imagine. The mere presence of Mexican military on American soil is an act of war. After they fire on Americans, they are in essence told, take your weapons back so you can use them on us another day.
[The above link and story are indicative of the current state of affairs on our Southern border.]
Now what in the world would prompt authorities in the U.S. of A. to an agreement which would allow a foreign military to fly into the U.S. and confront a citizen of the U.S. of A.? For the life of me I can see no situation which would justify ANY agreement of reciprocity with Mexico of this nature.
But....what if? What if our leaders have done so? And for what reason? Again I can think of NO reason under the sun for such an agreement. But then again I have never ever credited the politicians and beaurocrats in this country with having a lick of common sense. Or ethics. A whole hosts of scenarios could be imagined if one takes the time. After all many of us living close to the border realize that the narcotrafficantes (drug dealers to you) couldn't ply their lucrative enterprises with close cooperation of sorts with connected assets on this side of the border. You know, like protection. Stuff like that. We know it happens....
Once in a blue moon someone of stature gets busted and hurriedly juried, judged and incarcerated, taking the fall for those higher up the food chain.
Would our Department of Homeland Defense enlist the aid of a corrupt nation and an even more corrupt foreign army to guard our borders? Would they give the go ahead to an armed incursion? Now realize this is in no way the first of these events to occur on the border. And curiously the MSM (Main Stream Media to you) never deigns the event newsworthy. Surely an investigative journo could find a Pulitzer in this. Unless..... Hmmm.
Am I imagining things? Could be. But I would like to find out. Any ideas out there? Anyone with concrete information that could substantiate such an agreement? Leads. How about an agreement with Arizona officials? Stranger things have happened.
If it could be proven that our government does indeed have an Agreement of Reprocity with Mexico then we citizens/voters need to know. I would suspect that a third party in waiting (with candidate of course) would find the prospects exhilirating. I wonder what a million Minutemen descending on Foggy Bottom (Washington D.C. to you) would accomplish? God forbid that they would have their long guns with them. You know, the 2nd amendment being in such disarray in that part of the world and all.
Oh well. What?... Don't be a killjoy.... a guy can fantasize can't he? After all it could never happen here. But it would get someone's attention. Sort of like hitting that mule twixt the ears with a two by four to get his attention......
Good nite......
