MEXICAN NAVY SEIZES OVER 7 TONS OF COCAINE

Mexican Navy Seizes Over 7 Tons of Cocaine

    Sunday, February 15, 2009

MEXICO CITY — The Mexican navy says it has seized 7.7 tons of cocaine from an unspecified kind of boat and detained five Mexican citizens onboard.

Navy Secretary Mariano Francisco Saynez says the navy acted on a tip from the U.S. Coast Guard, which detected the vessel in international Pacific waters last weekend.

Saynez says the boat and the five alleged drug traffickers plucked from it are being transported to the port of Salina Cruz in Mexico's Oaxaca state, where they will arrive on Monday.

Mexico's government has seized more than 70 tons of cocaine since President Felipe Calderon took office in December 2006 and launched a crackdown against drug trafficking.

Well an article a few days ago said the US Navy and Customs and Border Patrol picked up 8 tons 500 miles off the coast of Ecuador and it was worth $313 million.

    I say legalize it/regulate it/tax it.

But Mexico would have to sell it for the wholesale price so that the retailers could still make a nice profit.

Yeah, I don't know anything about the drug trade so I don't know if the $313 million in the other article was street/retail or wholesale. I'm sure Mexico will know though.

That would take away the ability of 'Black Op' gov't operations to make the necessary capital to continue. They'd have to raise the price of a toilet seat from $500 to $50,000 to cover their budgets.

I do agree with your statement entirely though.

Not presently, but if it were legalized it would. We need to repeal NAFTA, CAFTA and all Free Trade Agreements and restore protected trade policy to end this Free Trade Treason that's left the US with a -$711 Billion a year in trade deficits before we count the -$300 Billion a year of our money supply we lose in the illegal drug trade. Together that's a Trillion a year of our money supply that leaves our country every single year never to return, money supply that was created by the hard work, innovation, productivity and energy of the American People. How can an economy lose $Trillion a year and stay afloat? It can't.

There's a Five Point Plan To Cure Our Economy, and they are:

    1. Stop Illegal Immigration

    2. Pass the FairTax

    3. Restore Protected Trade Policy

    5. Drill Baby Drill

That's all we need to do to restore our standard of living, money supply, solvency, sustainability, job base, wages, treasury, states, communities, towns, families, individuals.

We'll still have a few who need our help who truly can't participate fully on a sustainable level without some help for one reason or another, but these people need all our help, not the crumbs left over from helping those who can't help themselves because they don't have a job because our policies destroyed their livelihoods and those who won't work because they make more money being on a welfare system they shouldn't even be eligible for to begin with and our elderly who worked for 40 years and made this country the greatest country in the world and paid so many taxes while they worked that they're asked to live on nickels and dimes during retirement until they pass away.

Not 1 of these 5 actions cost taxpayers 1 dime or raise the national debt 1 cent. They make us money, they generate tax revenue, they raise wages, increase expendable income and savings, and make our US companies the profit envy of the world.

But we need all 5 to truly fix our economy for everyone in this generation as well as for future generations so what is happening to the United States never ever happens again.

Five Simple Steps .. that's all we need to do to save our country.

Yes, we would need to fund our 'Black Ops" more rationally and cleverly than using a violent illegal drug cartel enterprise.

Exactly! I am sure El Presidente Calderon has already found a buyer and arranging to dump it in the USA.
