Mexicans Drop Mattresses All Over The Freeway

After Minutemen met with San Bernardino Mexican Consul Giralt Cabrales, while traveling south on Freeway 215, there was a mattress, covering the two middle lanes of the freeway - putting the freeway in peril. A truck with Mexican license plates, was at the side of the freeway about half a block beyond the fallen mattress, near the Mt Vernon exit. Minutemen contacted the California Highway Patrol.

There were three mattresses fallen beside the truck


Via the telephone, CHP stated an officer would be on site immediately. The two individuals, above photo, were quickly piling the mattresses back onto the top of the truck - preparing to return to the freeway. In the above photo, I am standing by my vehicle - waiting for the CHP to arrive.


They loaded up the third and final mattress - they worked rapidly and appeared intent on fleeing the scene.


They expressed no concern, no regard for the mattress in the middle lanes of the freeway - creating a potentially fatal scenario for motorists dodging their mattress. We left at this juncture - still waiting for the CHP to arrive.

Now some thing tells me a pickup truck over loaded that bad can't be legal .
It's a accident looking for a spot to happen .

Scenario 1:
They are fleeing the U.S. because of illegal immigration crackdowns. Oh, never mind, this is California…so that doesn’t apply.

Scenario 2:
They broke into some Yanks home while they were away at work earning enough money for California to take it away and redistribute it to the invaders.

Scenario 3:
They’re third world cretins who don’t give a damn about anybody/anything but themselves.

Scenario 4:
They’re furnishing the latest drop house with the proceeds from the Yanks home. Have to get there fast, new client load arriving.

I pick that one.
Its obvious they dont care about the safety of anyone else around them. Its so piled up, that stuff will probably fly off again as they travel down the highway. Its an accident just waiting to happen.

You might be seeing more of this kind of thing than usual right now. With spring break and the Easter season alot of Mexicans are heading south right now.

When they go, most take a ton of crap with them either for friends and relatives over there and/or to sell.

We had a bunch of tenants....both legal and illegal...... here leave on Saturday, similarly loaded down, who had informed us that they'll be gone now for periods ranging from 4 weeks to 3 months. Also, it seemed like no matter where we went over the weekend, we saw trucks and cars with Mexican plates packed to the gills and heading south.

The good news is that, based upon other things we were told, many will not be coming back and some of the stuff, belongs to those who have either already left or are in the process and these folks were just helping with the move.
