US Senate ‘must fulfill its duties’

MEXICO CITY – The Senate on Tuesday threatened to cancel the upcoming Mexico-United States inter-congressional meeting, expected to be held in June in Campeche.
Senators announced that the meeting would be canceled “if the U.S. Senate insists on sending senators with little clout to the meeting, particularly in these critical times when the legislative agenda is full of important issues, including the criminalization of migration and security.â€

Yes, we want them to fulfill their duties, which means ENFORCE THE LAWS WE ALREADY HAVE!

No need to meet in Mexico, tell mexico to take care of their own people and stay out of our affairs!

The "duty" of the U.S. Senate is to the American people and to the United States of America.....not Mexico.

IT is ALL about the money. They can't afford to lose any of the 326 Billion dollars that their "citizens" send from the U.S.

That is true. It is something like 30% of their economy. Just think if American workers were doing all those jobs and that money was circulating in OUR economy. Hey...it would do a lot to restore the health of our economy.

I propose we go ahead with the meeting but send a contingency composed of only anti-amnesty Republicans.

Mexico is really getting out of line. It's about time we get some leadership that tells mexico to go pound sand! Mexico is no different than their illegal invaders currently invading our country! The more you pacify them, the more embolden and demanding they get!
