Mexico Deports Record Number of Central Americans

The recent interior and border enforcement efforts by Mexico have yielded results.

According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the number of Central American migrants removed from Mexico during the first seven months of FY 2019 (October 1, 2018, to April 30, 2019), is up 16 percent from the same period last year.

The main countries of origin of these migrants are El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala.

The IOM figures show the number of repatriated individuals at 130,985 through April, compared to 196,061 deportations for all of FY 2018. FY 2017 removal numbers were notably lower at 141,828.

Mexican enforcement efforts have ranged from deportations of illegal aliens to their home countries to migrant interception operations. Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has authorized the National Guard to assist with border security at Mexico's southern border with Guatemala.

The latest illegal alien apprehension initiatives have also spurred local airlines to assist with returning migrants to their country of origin.

TRUMP needs to offer OUR manned buses and aircraft to deport them AWAY from our border on the Mexican side. Load them up and get them away from the border towns.

Mexico does not want them and neither does the USA.

We are not the dumping ground or ATM machine for the entire world any more!
