Syrian Refugees US Obama Policy 2015: Increase The Asylum Number, Civil Rights Groups

President Barack Obama should show Americans are willing to take the lead in the global response to the Syrian refugee crisis, a group of U.S. civil rights organizations said Tuesday.

The leaders from American Muslim, African-American and Jewish-American advocacy organizations, among several other interest groups, told the president that Syria’s neighbors and several European

nations had “captured the moral high ground” by collectively agreeing to resettle several million Syrian migrants, who fled their homes amid a civil uprising against President Bashar Assad and Islamic

State group violence that has claimed more than 220,000 lives.

The U.S. should agree to take in more refugees sooner and pressure other countries to do the same, the groups said. “The United States has historically taken in the largest share of refugees eligible for

resettlement,” the groups wrote in a letter to Obama dated Sept. 25. “We need to take further steps in this instance, and lead by example and encourage additional countries to step in as well.”

TELL CONGRESS NOT TO FUND SYRIAN RESETTLEMENT - fax available or send a letter, email to all parties involved in this decision. The news of violence by these "refugees" barging into EU accompanied by the talk of "spreading muslims thruout the world" for take over purposes is more than enough reason NOT to allow them here but to settle in safe areas in their own country where their beliefs are acceptable.

Dear (Your Three Members of Congress),

Please make sure that the continuing resolution contains a provision that prevents the United States from resettling Syrians. The FBI is adamant that it is impossible to determine if such an action would pose a security risk. I hope you will do all you can to make sure the CR prevents the government from resettling Syrians.
The White House has floated plans to resettle 10,000 Syrians and some Members of Congress are pushing for the government to resettle up to 100,000. With the FBI unable to determine if those Syrians wishing to relocate to the United States pose a security risk, it would be foolhardy and dangerous for the U.S. to place these individuals in our communities.

The continuing resolution must contain language to prevent the White House from resettling more Syrians to the United States. Actions which pose a security risk must be carefully considered and must not be taken on the basis of emotion or politics.

Just sent this off to the US House Committee on Homeland Security. Chairman Michael McCaul: homeland.security@mail.house.gov

Please forward this to the Committee Chair:

Thanks you for your efforts to identify the enlistment of US citizens and residents into foreign terror organizations. It is not only the US, but our European allies also are experiencing this. Yet many politicians still acquiesce to letting more people from countries with clear terrorist ties to immigrate. I am shocked to think of the consequences if European countries allow one million people---including who knows how many bona fide religious zealots and potential terrorists---to settle in their regions and form isolated communities, where local law enforcement officials may not dare to go.

Our own country is now being coerced to accept thousands of people---who may also have such terror ties. Why should we allow this? So we can have repeats of the Boston bombing massacre where 6 people were killed , 280 injured, and 14 required amputations? What justification is there for this?

And also our southern border has turned into probably the largest criminal organization crossing in the Western world. Official news releases from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) show that every week there are sizable crime rings uncovered, or die hard criminals arrested. it reads like a crime magazine----with shocking reports such as hundreds of pounds of drugs, or huge human smuggling rings, fraudulent document mills. Please look at just the recent headlines:

    http://www.ice.gov/news/releases/ice...safety-threats

    http://www.ice.gov/news/releases/mas...ficking-minors

Americans pay their taxes so that we can be safe. Not so that our neighborhoods can be riddled with criminals and crime rings. Moreover the policy of the Obama administration in only targeting so called violent offenders misses the point: The disruption to one's own life can be even greater when identity is stolen, or an uninsured illegal driver runs into you, or women come in and then engage in or are swept into prostitution rings. These kinds of things are very common.

And they should be considered a national security threat, as those events seriously undermine the ability of law enforcement to go after other criminal activities, and the investigation and jailing of these criminals costs US taxpayers billions every year. If the Obama Administration will no take its job of border protection seriously, then the US Congress MUST ACT. That is what I am calling on you, Chairman McCaul, TO DO!

    Sincerely,
"Men of low degree are vanity, Men of high degree are a lie. " David
