Migrant Girl Dies Trying To Reach Parents
Posted by The Watchdog - August 11th, 2006
If the Southern border was secure people would not die crossing the desert. If they knew they couldn’t get across they would not even try. If the Mexican government wouldn’t encourage them to cross they wouldn’t die.
Here is yet another story of criminal smugglers and a group of invaders leaving the weak behind to die in the desert.
Coyotes rape, rob, murder, and leave for dead countless migrants every day. Would you as a parent pay these criminals to smuggle your children across the desert in August?
BUILD THE WALL!
Tucson Citizen
An 11-year-old girl died on the Tohono O’odham Nation after walking in the desert alongside her 17-year-old sister. The girls were trying to reunite with their parents, who live in Atlanta, Ga., officials said.
Olivia Elizabeth Luna Noguera and her sister Marisol were from Acapulco, Guerrero, said Alejandro Ramos, spokesman for the Mexican Consulate in Tucson.
He did not know how long ago their parents left them to find work in Atlanta.
Ramos said the sisters crossed into the United States near Sasabe Friday with 17 other illegal immigrants and a smuggler.
Olivia became ill Saturday in the heat. She was tired, weak and fainted. The sisters were eventually left behind, Ramos said.
Marisol stayed with her sister until Olivia passed out, then sought help at a house on the Tohono O’odham Nation. The resident called tribal police, Ramos said.
Olivia was transported to the hospital in Sells, where she died, he said.
An autopsy is pending, but Olivia appears to have died from heat exposure, said Dr. Bruce Parks, Pima County’s medical examiner.
At least two other illegal immigrants died in the Border Patrol’s Tucson sector over the weekend.
A 32-year-old man died on the Barry M. Goldwater Air Force Range on Sunday, said Gustavo Soto, a sector spokesman. Agents found another dead man Saturday near Three Points. He had no identification. More than 120 people have died crossing the border since Oct. 1, the beginning of the U.S. fiscal year, Border Patrol statistics show.

If these folks cared about family so much, how come they would risk their lives in such a fashion? If they really cared, one of the parents would have been home, in Mexico, with the children. At the very least, the parents wouldn't have entrusted a low-life coyote with their daughters safety. Does everyone agree that the parents and coyote should be charged with murder?"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

Who paid the coyote? The parents did because those two girls didn't have that kind of money in Mexico. Wonder if they can be convicted of child endangerment at the least they should be instantly deported.

Is there some way that we can follow up on this to make sure that these parents are held accountable ?
Imagine these children attempting to get to their parents !! Dammit I've had it !!
Where is Alberto Gonzales.......FIND THESE PARENTS AND HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS NEEDLESS TRAGEDY !!!
I don't want to see this child's death turned into a sob story for illegal aliens. I want THE TRUTH to come out about these NEGLIGENT PARENTS who are taking their children across the border ILLEGALLY.
For these children's sake, these parents must begin to be CHARGED with NEGLIGENCE at the very least.
COME ON AMERICA ......IF MEXICO WILL NOT STAND UP FOR THESE CHILDREN WE WILL AND I MEAN BY GETTING TOUGH WITH THE PARENTS NOT BY BEING SOFTJoin our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I'm looking at other threads and I just keep coming back to this one.
HOW CAN GEORGE BUSH SLEEP AT NIGHT ??
He KNOWS he could put a stop to this if he really wanted to. He still wants to let Mexicans in illegally for cheap labor and to try to build a voter base for his nefew and the Republican Party.
IS THE DEATH OF THIS CHILD WORTH IT TO HIM TO CONTINUE ON THIS PATH ??? HOW CAN HE SLEEP AT NIGHT. HOW CAN HE LIVE WITH HIMSELF. HE KNOWS DEEP IN HIS HEART THAT IT WILL TAKE A GET TOUGH POLICY AND NOT THIS "GAME" HE IS PLAYING WITH THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND POOR INNOCENT CHILDREN LIKE THIS LITTLE GIRL. HE TURNS THESE STORIES INTO A PLOY TO GET WHAT HE WANTS WHICH IS AMNESTY. HOW MANY MORE CHILDREN WILL DIE BECAUSE OF HIS SELFISHNESS AND NEGLIGENCE ?
I AM FURIOUS WITH HIM. THIS LITTLE GIRL DIED BECAUSE OF HIS FAILURE TO ENFORCE IMMIGRATION LAWS
My opinion of him has reached a new LOW level as a result of this little girl's death. One can only imagine how SICK, how SCARED, how ALONE, and how ABANDONED this little girl felt when she began to succomb to the heat exhaustion. Yes, little girl....you were abandoned by four people who are responsible for what happened to you ........your parents, George W. Bush and Vicente Fox.
I'm sorry you guys, but this story is too much for me. I have an eight year old little girl and I know that she would also attempt to cross a desert to try to get to me. What I cannot fathom is HOW these parents could or would ever leave their children behind or try to enter a country illegally with their children. It's too much to believe. I hope that somone out there with the ability to change things will realize that George Bush's way is not only wrong, it is deadly for some very innocent people like this little girl.
I've said all I can and now I will not return to this thread.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

These people abandon their children in another country to come here and make money and have more children not caring if they die trying to come here. This culture of theirs is a detriment to our country as well as their own and why their own countries are poverty stricken toilets. These people do not care about their children they can just make more. There is no sense of family unity they just keep having more children. It is a shame that these people can let their children die in the desert and not have a care in the world while sucking off the american people. Our president does not care about his own people why should he care about theirs dying in the desert.
Freedom isn't free... Don't forget the men who died and gave that right to all of us....
