Mitt Romney Not a Natural Born US Citizen, his father born in Mexico

Mitt Romney Not a Natural Born US Citizen, his father born in Mexico.

The Minor vs Happersett case in which the Supreme Court defined a NBC as one who has 2 parents which were citizens at the time of the subject’s birth. We also cited 3 other cases in which the Supreme Court, previous to the Minor case, said the same thing.

Since Romney’s father, at the time of his birth, was not a U.S. citizen, nor did he ever become one, according to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1875…Romney is NOT a Natural Born Citizen.

Mitt Romney's family in Mexico reveals candidate's heritage south of border

Heading into the New Hampshire primary, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney has a strong lead in the polls as he continues his effort to become the Republican nominee challenging President Obama in the fall. That would mean, of course, that the 64-year-old Romney would be closer to The White House than any Mormon ever has been.

If Romney secures the nomination, he would also be the first presidential nominee whose father was born in Mexico.

It's a little known fact that there's a whole branch of Mitt Romney’s family living south of the border, including his second cousin Leighton Romney, and about 40 other relatives descended from religious pioneers who first traveled to Mexico 125 years ago. These days, the Romneys of Mexico enjoy pleasant and productive lives in two remaining settlements: Colonia Juarez and Colonia Dublan, just 175 miles south of the border.

Romney's great grandfather, Miles Park Romney, led that first expedition to escape not persecution but prosecution for polygamy, or what Mormons called ‘plural marriage.’ After polygamy ended, the family remained in Mexico. Mitt Romney's father, George, was born in Colonia Dublan, one of the colonies in northern Mexico that the Romneys settled in after their arrival. His mother, Lenore LaFount Romney, was born in Utah.

When Romney’s father was five years old, the Mexican Revolution broke out and his parents moved back to the United States to avoid the violence. Mitt Romney was eventually born in Michigan. But the other branch of the family – leading down to Romney's cousins Leighton, Mike and Meredith – stayed behind in Mexico, their numbers growing. The Romneys chose to remain in Mexico because they established good lives for themselves and their families there. Most of them are now dual-citizens.

This is all nonsense! Mitt Romney's father (George) was born to American parents in Mexico in a Mormon colony. Therefore his father was also a U.S. citizen. His father became governor of Michigan. If he wasn't a U.S. citizen he could never had become governor of Michigan. Mitt himself was born here in the U.S. Someone needs to get their facts straight.

there is a completly differant standard to be a Govenor; Congressman; Senator than what it is for POTUS. Romney dosent meet the Criteria and never has. This was brought up 9 - 12 months ago. A mormon Colony in a foreign country is not the same as McCain being born in Panama on a Military Installation. I will pull up the statute tomorrow and post it. The Status / Criteria is clear for the parents / as well as on U.S. Soil or sovereign territory.

BSNBC, also known as Hussain's Brownshirt network never let's me down!

Just when I think they can't be any more communist and brown-nosing (to dictator hussain) They surprise me yet again.

Hey BSNBC, where was the article about the illegal alien squatting in our Whitehouse and his Kenyan father, years ago?

Romney not being a natural born citizen, rubbish!

The desperation of the liberals is getting laughable!

Birth Abroad to Two U.S. Citizen Parents in Wedlock

A child born abroad to two U.S. citizen parents acquires U.S. citizenship at birth under section 301(c) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) provided that one of the parents had a residence in the United States or one of its outlying possessions prior to the child’s birth. The child is considered to be born in wedlock if the child is the genetic issue of the married couple.

George Wilcken Romney was born to American parents in the Mormon colonies in Mexico on July 8, 1907 Galeana, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Mitt Romney is a natural born citizen having been born in the US to US citizen parents.

Oh my God. That is such a lie. A natural born citizen is someone born in the US to 2 US citizens, natural born or naturalized. It doesn't matter where the parents were born so long as when their child was born here, they were both US citizens at the time of the birth.
