Mitt Romney Promises to Deliver Amnesty Bill To Obama's Desk if GOP Takes Senate

ALIPAC NOTE: Mitt Romney lied to everyone when he ran for President saying he opposed amnesty, but now we see him here on Fox News pushing amnesty for illegal immigrants! Mitt Romney's campaign was filled with Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) members and operatives, thus his prediction on Fox News Sunday before Election Day shows the CFR pan for Republicans to deliver amnesty to Obama!

Romney: A GOP Senate to pass immigration, trade

By JONATHAN TOPAZ | 11/2/14 9:33 AM EST
    Politico

Mitt Romney predicted on Sunday that a Republican Senate would break through congressional gridlock and pass legislation on immigration reform and trade.

Appearing on "Fox News Sunday," the former Massachusetts governor and 2012 Republican presidential nominee warned that President Barack Obama would move after Tuesday's midterm elections towards "amnesty" on immigration reform, a reference to the White House's decision to delay executive action on immigration until after the elections. But Romney said a Republican Congress would pass a more conservative immigration bill focused on border security that the president would sign.

“You’re going to see a provision, first of all, to secure the border," Romney said. "Second of all, to deal with those who come here illegally. And third, to make sure our immigration policies are more open and transparent … That’s going to happen. You’re going to see a bill actually reach the desk of the president if we finally have someone besides Harry Reid sitting in the Senate. So, we’re going to get it done.”

Romney, who said he anticipates major gains for Republicans but declined to predict a GOP Senate takeover, said Democrats were chiefly responsible for the legislative "blockade" in Washington. A Republican Senate, he said, would put pressure on the White House to pass trade promotion authority, which the White House and congressional Republicans largely support but rank-and-file Democrats, led by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), largely oppose.

Romney also said that recent Democratic comments on women's issues and race, including Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu's comments that Obama's unpopularity in her state is partly due to race, show a "desperate" Democratic Party. Those arguments, he said, are getting "weaker and weaker."

On whether he will run for president in 2016, Romney stuck to his familiar line: “I’m not running. I’m not planning on running.".

Sarah Palin: Romney in 'Never Never Land' on Amnesty

by Tony Lee 2 Nov 2014, 4:45 PM PDT

On Sunday, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin said Mitt Romney is in "never never land" on amnesty, blasting the establishment Republican for declaring two days before the midterm elections that Republicans would pass an amnesty bill if they win back Congress.

"Where the heck have these GOP establishment types been during this election season? GOP Senate candidates are promising to do everything in their power to stop Obama's lawlessness, including his unjust amnesty that Americans do not support," Palin exclusively told Breitbart News. "Governor Romney is busy promoting some decent policies; perhaps that's why he clearly hasn't followed today's races because every Republican is campaigning against amnesty and every Democrat gunning for the Senate is campaigning for it. With all due respect, Governor Romney is in 'never never land' on this one."

Palin, who has championed American workers against the bipartisan permanent political class that has always wanted massive amnesty legislation, added that "every Senate Democrat candidate who voted for or supports Obama's amnesty, which will erase America's middle class, must answer for it in Tuesday's election."

"Voters have one chance to stop them. Don't let them get away with their complicity to Obama's lawlessness," Palin told Breitbart News. "Obama's unconstitutional executive amnesty will radically erode American sovereignty, and Harry Reid and his lemmings are determined to protect Obama's amnesty anyway. We can't block funding for Obama's failed policies including amnesty unless we dispatch Harry Reid. This is precisely why constitutional conservatives must win on Tuesday, meaning no votes for U.S. Senate or House candidates of the duped and dense Democrat persuasion."

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Romney, who is viewed as the current North Star of the "pale pastels" GOP establishment, said Republicans would get amnesty legislation "done" if they win back Congress on Tuesday.

"You're going to see a provision first of all to secure the border, second of all, to deal with those who have come here illegally and, third, to make sure our immigration policies are open and transparent to many people who do want to come here illegally. That's going to happen," Romney said. "You're going to see a bill actually reach the desk of the president, if we finally have someone besides Harry Reid sitting in the Senate."

Romney said that he thought "Republicans in the House were looking at what was coming from the Senate saying, 'you know what? We can do better if we pick up more seats in the Senate.'"

"So, we're going to get it done, I think," he added. Establishment Republicans like Jeb Bush have also said Republicans should pass amnesty legislation if they win back Congress even though studies have shown that Republicans can win elections in 2014 and beyond without passing massive amnesty legislation.

Romney made his remarks even though Republicans may take back Congress because Americans disapprove of President Barack Obama's lawlessness on illegal immigration and his promises of more executive amnesty for illegal immigrants. For instance, Republican New Hampshire Senate candidate Scott Brown may defeat Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) because of the illegal immigration issue. Brown, who was trailing Shaheen by double digits, surged after focusing on illegal immigration.

A recent Fox News poll found that illegal immigration is Obama's worst issue going into the midterms, which explains why Senate Democrats begged Obama to delay his executive amnesty until after the midterm elections. And multiple national polls have found that a plurality of voters would be "less likely" to vote for candidates who support a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants.

Palin earlier called for Obama's impeachment because of his lawlessness on illegal immigration that only hurts American workers--legal immigrants and U.S.-born. In a Breitbart News op-ed this year, Palin blasted the "wealthy bipartisan elite, who want cheap foreign labor and can afford for themselves the best 'border security' money can buy in their own exclusive communities," for not caring that illegal immigration is screwing "American workers – native-born and wonderful legal immigrants of all races, backgrounds, and political parties."

"It’s the American worker who is forced to deal with Obama’s latest crisis with our hard-earned tax dollars while middle class wages decrease, sustainable jobs get more scarce, and communities become unrecognizable and bankrupted due to Obama’s flood of illegal immigration," Palin wrote, urging Americans to back impeachment "on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds."

I have feared for some time that the race between the two major parties was a race for who gave the major amnesty (I believe form 20-25 millions). I have never believed that amnesty was only a democrat wish, look at who signed the first amnesty in 1986. I still maintain that we cannot stop amnesty or amnesties voting for these two parties. May heaven prove me wrong!

This election will not stop any amnesty!

So, if the Republicans win they pass amnesty.

If the Democrats win they pass amnesty.

    Houston, we have a problem.
