    CBP Officers Nab Wanted Sex Offender at Roma Bridge

    ROMA - Federal officers catch a wanted sex offender at the Roma International Bridge. The 86-year-old fugitive was wanted on alleged criminal sexual conduct charges from Michigan.

    CBP officers stopped a truck for a routine inspection. They ran the driver's name through a national data base and learned Leonel Vela Salinas was wanted by the Detroit Police Department. He allegedly attacked a minor.

    Vela Salinas remains behind bars waiting to be sent back to Michigan to face charges.
