Illegals Accused in Drug Case

More Illegal Narcotics, More Illegal Aliens

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office received information on March 5, 2007, from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Parcel Interdiction Team in reference to a package that was scheduled for delivery in Bay County and suspected of containing a large quantity of Marijuana.

The package was to be delivered by parcel carrier to 203 Jasmine Place on Panama City Beach. Special Investigation Division narcotics investigators executed a search warrant today March 7, 2008, on the residence and found four illegal aliens and 8 pounds of Marijuana with a street value of $9,000. Three of the illegal aliens were found to be in possession of fraudulent social security cards and ID cards. Also found were packaging materials investigators believe were intended to facilitate the distribution of the Marijuana into the community.

Investigators also seized a 1994 Nissan truck registered to one of the illegal aliens who did not have a valid driver’s license or insurance.

Arrested was: Rogelio Reyes Funez, DOB 2/11/83, of 203 Jasmine Place, on charges of Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Distribute and Criminal Use of Personal Identification Information; Julio Elgar Perdomo, DOB 11/4/71, of 203 Jasmine Place, on charges of Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Distribute and Criminal Use of Personal Identification Information; Lorenzo Aleman, DOB 4/11/81, of 203 Jasmine Place, on a charge of Criminal Use of Personal Identification Information, Tonino Rodriguez, DOB 8/27/67, on a charge of Criminal Use of Personal Identification Information.
