Illegal Immigrant Charged With Identity Theft




An illegal immigrant is behind bars charged with identity theft.

35 year old Tixtha Martinez has been residing in Morton. She was arrested Wednesday on three counts of identity theft.

Martinez is accused of opening loans at the Central Mississippi Federal Credit Union using a stolen identity. The victims were from Illinois and contacted the Mississippi Attorney General's office to report the crime.

Martinez is being held in the Scott County jail. Her bond is set at 75-thousand dollars.

I wonder if she will be like the guy they recently arrested here who owned two homes, several vehicles, and was pretty much living large thanks to identity theft, who informed the police officers that instead of "picking on latinos" they should be worried about "real" criminals

As far as this guy was concerned, he'd done nothing wrong and was only trying to provide a better life for himself and his family.

I really hope they throw the maximum at this woman.
