TUCSON - An illegal immigrant wanted in Mexico for murder has been returned to that country to face charges.

Remigio Lopez-Alvarez, 32, was picked up by Ajo Station border patrol agents Friday. He was one in a group of illegal immigrants caught entering the U.S. illegally.

During processing, record checks revealed Lopez-Alvarez had an active homicide warrant from Chiapas, Mexico.
