Since deputies with the Alamance County Sheriff’s Department were authorized through the 287 (g) program to detain and process immigration violators, hundreds of illegal immigrants have been processed locally for deportation.

Though not all these people are local residents, the fact that many end up being deported has created uncertainty in a section of the Hispanic community and has raised concerns among the deportees’ family members who stay behind.

If an IA is arrested and the rest of the family are here Illegally they should ALL be deported for their sake and ours.

If the breadwinner is deported guess who gets to support the family left behind ?
