An illegal immigrant from Mexico has been charged with sexually inappropriate behavior with a 6-year-old girl, according to officials.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office say 28-year-old Elio Citala-Rodriguez of Pink Hill, N.C. is a distant relative of the victim. Detectives say the alleged encounters happened between March 2006 and Sept. 2007 while Rodriguez was living with the victim and her parents in Fayetteville.

Officials say the victim was forced to have sexual intercourse and engage in other sexual favors with Rodriguez.

Rodriguez has been charged with first degree statutory rape, first degree statutory sex offense and taking indecent liberties with a child. More charges are expected to be file against the suspect by the Pink Hill PD, according to a press release.

He is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond. Rodriguez is also being retained by Immigration Custom Enforcement.

The poor child.

I hope the parents of the child legally go after the Sob politicians that allowed the illegal to be in that particular locality. The politicians that supported illegals being in NC are co-conspirators in the horrific crime.

If the parents welcomed the illegal into their home, knowing the stutus of the criminal, it is child endangerment and abuse, and they are legally accountable.

The illegal should get the electric chair, if the parents knew he was an illegal, they should be made responcible to pay for the jail time and procedure.
