Thursday, September 10, 2009 | 4:09 PM
HOUSTON -- Federal agents have arrested three men for allegedly holding illegal immigrants hostage at a Houston stash house.
The Houston Chronicle reports an investigator's affidavit said the suspects held the immigrants captive unless their relatives paid thousands of dollars. According to the affidavit, one of the immigrants was forced to perform sex acts on another man.
Charged with hostage-taking in the criminal complaint are permanent U.S. resident Alex Julco and two Mexican nationals, Rigoberto Jaimes-Vargas and Francisco Gomez.
Federal agents on Aug. 29 found 11 men held captive there in their underwear, along with the three suspects.

Illegal Immigrants Were Beaten, Held Hostage in Texas Home, Police Say
Thursday, September 10, 2009
Three Texas men are accused of holding illegal immigrants hostage in a Houston home until their families paid thousand to get them released, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Victims told federal agents they were stashed at a house where armed guards would threaten them, beat them, force them to remove their clothes and call their families demanding money.
Food was not often provided, with some victims telling authorities they were sometimes fed a single slice of pizza once a week, the Chronicle reported.
They said they were also forced to strip to their underwear so they wouldn't leave, according to the newspaper.
Federal agents raided the house Aug. 29 after receiving a tip from a Virginia woman, who said her brother had paid smugglers to bring him the U.S., but that she was being forced to pay more for him to be relased.
They found 11 men, who had all been illegally smuggled into the country, the Chronicle reported.
One of the men arrested, Alex Julco, was know to the captives as "El Diablo," which means the devil in Spanish.
He told investigators a man he knew as "El Pelon" rented a room from him in mid-August and the illegal immigrants were stashed there, the newspaper reported.
When Julco complained, he was given more money.
The other two Rigoberto Jaimes-Vargas and Francisco Gomez, both illegal immigrants, were told to watch over, and guard the the others.

Amazing that members of the "Race" have little respect for each other. Money trumps humanity, apparently.
