Officers with Thomasville Police Department and Davidson County Sheriff's Office helped apprehend a Chair City woman charged with identity theft.

According to a press release, police and the sheriff, along with the Office of the Inspector General and the Social Security Administration, launched an investigation into a complaint of identity theft on Aug. 30.
