It's important to understand that by "jurisdiction" the writers of the amendment mean POLITICAL jurisdiction. Liberals say it means legal jurisdiction but that is preposterous since it is obvious everyone inside our borders is subject to our laws. A foreign invader cannot murder someone and then claim the laws don't apply to him since he's not a citizen!!

When an illegal mexican mother gives birth in america, the kid inherits the nationality of the mother and is thus subject to the political jurisdiction of mexico, not america.
That is exactly right. So the President has the authority to instruct the State Department to stop issuing passports and certainly is in the position to ask the Social Security Administration to stop issuing them Social Security numbers. He can't order states to stop issuing birth certificates, but that really doesn't matter because the language in the rules of passports and Social Security numbers includes the language of subject to our jurisdiction.

There will be lawsuits, but on these two issues of the federal government issuing Passports and Social Security numbers to children of illegal aliens, I think there's a chance we could win on those. It would be better in a lawsuit if we had a law from Congress, because without one, it's more likely the Supreme Court will side with long-standing precedent of the Wong Kim Ark case and practice.
