New Bedford: Guatemalan kills woman, self attacks 2 others
Again this pro-illegal alien paper describes the victims and their "roommates" as Mayans from Guatemala. No word on their immigraiton status. Please someone fax this article to the Guat Consulate that covers Massachusetts. Here's another example of crimes that wouldn't have occurred here if our borders were secured, our laws were enforced and the Consulates would stop encougaing these people to come over here illegally.

Ambush leaves 2 dead
Man stabs estranged girlfriend, kills self in North End
March 01, 2008 6:00 AM
NEW BEDFORD — A man fatally stabbed his estranged girlfriend, then fought off a couple who tried to intervene before turning the knife on himself in a murder-suicide Friday night inside a North End tenement.
Police said the man entered the third-floor apartment at 148 Tinkham St. sometime before 5 p.m. and waited for his ex-girlfriend to come home. About a month ago, she had kicked him out of the apartment the couple shared with four other Mayans.
After she arrived, he attacked her in a bedroom, stabbing her through the heart and lungs, police said. She was later transported to St. Luke's Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Another couple living in the apartment heard the commotion and tried to intervene, said New Bedford police spokesman Lt. Jeffrey P. Silva.
The assailant fought off the couple, biting the man and stabbing the woman eight times about her torso and hands. With blood gushing from her wounds, the woman ran downstairs and fled through the building's rear door, screaming for help, police said.
After fighting off the couple, the assailant stabbed himself seven times in the chest, including once in the heart. He was taken to St. Luke's Hospital and pronounced dead.
Police found a weapon at the scene. It appeared to be an ordinary steak knife, according to Lt. Silva.
The third-floor apartment — in which four Mayan immigrants and a child lived — was described as a "very, very bloody" scene by police officials.
"There is a substantial amount of blood in the apartment and on the walls going down the staircase in the house," Lt. Silva said.
