I first read the story and wondered to myself if the murdered was an illegal alien, one of many, in New Orleans doing construction work that "many Americans would like to be doing instead!"

The tv news is reporting that he is a Mexican national and they can't find him. Duh!! This woman worked with my niece at the realty that is handling the sale of my folks' house. I hope they find this fker and put his ass to death.

Suspect named, SUV seized in Lafreniere Park killing

An arrest warrant was obtained today for a suspect in the beating death of a woman who was abducted while exercising in Lafreniere Park.

Jefferson Parish sherff's deputies said they are seeking Edmundo Cerda-Anima, 25, on a first-degree murder charge in the killing of Sandra Adams, 51, of Metairie. They said they developed Cerda-Anima as a suspect with help from the Wichita, Kan., Police Department, although the connection was not immediate clear.

The announcement came after deputies impounded a white Ford Expedition similar to the getaway vehicle that they were seeking in Adams' killing.

Deputies seized the vehicle Tuesday evening at an apartment building in the 500 block of Eisenhower Avenue, about a mile south of the Metairie park, a resident of the building said today. The resident, Karen Brown, said the vehicle had been driven by four construction workers who moved into the building three to four months ago.

It could not be determined whether deputies detained the four men. The Sheriff's Office planned a news conference this afternoon.

The park itself, a 155-acre crime scene on Tuesday, reopened to the public today with plans for entry restrictions after dark and talk of installing surveillance cameras.

Officials said all but one vehicular and pedestrian entrance will be closed at 7:30 p.m., 2-1/2 hours earlier than normal. The exception is the Downs Boulevard entrance just south of Veterans Memorial Boulevard, which will remain open until 10 p.m. Jefferson Parish officials are considering installing surveillance cameras at that entrance to monitor nighttime traffic.

The park reopened about 24 hours after Adams was found dead a half-mile away. Adams had entered the park Monday night with her son and one of his friends. The men went jogging, planning to meet up with her later for a ride home.

But they didn’t see her again until Tuesday at 6:30 a.m., after Adams’ battered body was found naked and face down in a gravel lot at David and Lynette drives, the ground around her head saturated with blood.

Preliminary autopsy work suggests Adams, 51, was beaten to death.

I hope the employer who owns the construction company this guy works for is prosecuted, too.

Sex abuse cited in Lafreniere Park killing

The person who abducted Sandra Adams from Lafreniere Park and killed her also "sexually abused" her, authorities said this afternoon.

While not specifying rape or some other form of molestation, Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies made the abuse disclosure at a news conference where they identified their suspect: Edmundo Cerda-Anima, 25, a Mexican national and construction worker who moved a few months ago into an apartment complex about a mile south of Lafreniere Park.

It was at that building, in the 500 block of Eisenhower Avenue, that deputies seized what they think is the getaway vehicle used by Adams' killer.

Deputies said they think Cerda-Anima has left the area. They have obtained a warrant to book him with first-degree murder.

They said they do not know his U.S. immigration status.

Yea, a lot of those jobs are government contracted. Therefore your government is paying them directly. The Kitrina people wanted to go back home and help rebuild. But no, the Mexicans had took their jobs. They are so lost. We have many of them in the area.

I think I told you before but I know a lady that lives in the Irish Channel section and she used to walk in her neighborhood at night. She says she can't and won't now since 30 or so illegals live in a house around the corner!

Once again this is the result of allowing the importation of lawless, uneducated savages who for the first time in their lives are expected to act like civilized human beings, but due to their limited intelligence are unable to act in a civilized manner. I was watching MSNBC and our wonderful bearded wonder Juan Hernandez was being interviewed by Pat Buchanon. Pat was all over him quoting facts and figures detailing the negative poliical, social and economic impact of illegal immigration on our society especially in the area of law enforcement and crime. All you heard from Hernandez was the usual rhetoric about how wonderful illegal immigrants are and the contributions they make to society. He stated the Senate bill and the administration's wishes were the wishes of the American people. He was told what the senate passed ran contrary to the wishes of the American people by more than a 2 to 1 margin, amnesty was not in the American people's vocabulary and the preponderence of emails proved that. He wasn't smiling as much as he usually does. This once again illustrates the total disconnect between the administration and the American people and the futility of integrating a 21st century political, economic, technological and military superpower with a third world economy where the majority of the population has an IQ no higher than the fruits and vegetables they pick and their main industries are agriculture and procreation. This truly is a recipe for disaster.

men that became homeless as a result of Katrina were working and living in tents UNTIL the Mexicans arrived and took their jobs and their tents!

These type of stories are becoming more and more frequent. Almost a daily thing.
And these damn Mexicans are becoming more brazen every day.
Just a couple of days ago on a construction site where I work, I was sitting in my truck in front of the building that is under construction. An assisted living facility in Jupiter, Fl.
The funny thing about this job is that it is a H.U.D. financed project. I would estimate that 30%-40% of the construction workers are Mexican. Don't know their legal status since that is a taboo subject that the developer won't discuss.
I was sitting in my truck in the grass area between the street and the sidewalk in front of the building. Waiting for the owner to arrive for a meeting. There were 5 or 6 Mexican painters working in front of the building. I was just sitting there, listening to the Rush Limbaugh show on the radio when I heard alot of hooting and howling from the Mexican painters.
When I looked up I saw a white girl, walking down the sidewalk toward my truck. Maybe 19-20 years old. Very cute looking girl, wearing shorts and carring a shopping bag. As she approached the area where I was parked, I noticed one of these stupid Mexican painters run to the sidewalk about 20 yards behind the girl. He's walking down the sidewalk behind the girl and grabbing his crotch as his buddies where howling like idiots.
The girl paid no attention and kept walking. As she walked past my truck, the Mexican noticed me sitting there watching him. He turned around and went back to work.
I doubt that the dumbass Mexican was trying to do anything but impress his buddies, but damn, I had a strong urge to kick that idiot in the ass.
