The New York Times claimed in a report citing anonymous sources Monday that Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan presented the Trump administration with a military proposal that could see the Pentagon send up to 120,000 troops to the Middle East.

It is devastating to see headlines like this when we have people saying it is unrealistic and cost prohibitive to put the military on our own border to protect our country from invasion.
Although I am sometimes ridiculed when I post about troops to the border, apparently I am not alone in wanting troops on the border

..... "proposal that could see the Pentagon send up to 120,000 troops to the Middle East"---
No, no, no.
120,000 troops to our southern border!

and I am not asking for 120,000 not even 40,000----I believe 5,000 troops with orders to keep them out---not leave gates open---not go around fences and help them in, but to guard the border and not allow them to enter would make a very big difference. I have no idea why anyone would be against that unless they own stock in a Pampers factory or are reaping benefits from this invasion in some manner.
