Rejecting Illegal Immigrants Is Rejecting Jesus Christ, Says Amnesty Advocate

    by PENNY STARR
    2 Nov 2017

“To turn your back on ‘Dreamers’ is to turn your back on Christ,” Jennifer Butler, and political activist and a minister at the Presbyterian Church (USA), said at a D.C. press conference.

President Donald Trump’s decision to end the DACA amnesty for illegal immigrants was a “stroke of profound cruelty,” added Butler, CEO of the far-left, union-backed, Faith in Public Life advocacy group.

The DACA illegal aliens are “model citizens,” said Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA), the co-sponsor of an amnesty bill.

Roybal-Allard and Butler joined on Wednesday with other advocates to urge Congress to pass the Dream Act, which would allow up to 3 million illegal aliens to gain legal status and citizenship.

The praise for the illegals echoes similar statements from top Democrat Party officials, despite the shocking decision by American voters in November to the reject the Democrats’ 2016 candidate. For example, the top Democratic leader in the House, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, declared in October:

"Our Dreamers, they make America dream again. They’re so lovely and we, frankly, owe a debt to your parents for bringing you here to be such a brilliant part of our future."

“Dreamers are, in fact, a vital part of the fabric of our American society,” Roybal-Allard said Wednesday. “They are patriotic, hardworking men and women who come from all walks of life, serve their community and are members of our many congregations.”

“By any standard, they are, indeed, model citizens,” said Roybal-Allard of the young people who are not citizens and whose parents broke U.S. law by coming with their children to the country illegally.

Young illegals should be a priority for Congress, said the Democratic legislator. “Dreamers who were brought here as children are Americans in heart and spirit and bring countless contributions to our society and our economy,” Roybal-Allard said.

“[The Dream Act] will help them reach their true, full potential and make us an even stronger and greater nation,” she said.

The Democrats’ praise for the illegals is not supported by the voters or facts. Statistics and studies gathered and reported on by Breitbart News paint a very different picture of the young illegal aliens.

Fraud is rampant in the DACA program, according to a former official with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). In an interview with LifeZette, Matt O’Brien alleged that the fraud rate for DACA is roughly “40 to 50 percent” and potentially even higher. “Based on what I had seen and what I discussed with my colleagues, the fraud rate is 40 to 50 percent. It’s possible that it was higher,” O’Brien told LifeZette in September.

Nearly 44 percent of the almost 800,000 DACA beneficiaries worked without valid Social Security numbers, says a study by the University of California, San Diego. The study, according to Center for Immigration Studies researcher Ronald Mortensen, sheds light on the potential identity theft rate of DACA recipients. “However, these individuals were unable to legally obtain Social Security numbers for their pre-DACA employment, which means that they used fraudulently obtained Social Security numbers that all-too-often belong to American citizens, including American children,” Mortensen wrote. He continued:

The use of unlawfully obtained Social Security numbers by individuals eligible for DACA status is so pervasive that the Obama administration instructed applicants not to disclose their illegally obtained numbers. That ensured that Americans who are the victims of DACA identity theft were left with destroyed credit, arrest records attached to their names, unpaid tax liabilities, and corrupted medical records while the DACA recipients walked away scot-free from multiple felonies — forgery, Social Security fraud, perjury on I-9 forms, and identity theft.

Few of the young illegals go to college, despite advocates’ claims say that many of the young illegals go to college. Data American Council on Education’s website reports that only 5 to 10 percent of the young illegals even enroll in college, even though the illegals face few restrictions in most states. The percentage estimate means that only 6,000 young illegals sign up for college each year.

Few of the young illegals have won good jobs, despite their use of DACA work-permits. Before 2012, half of the illegals in a recent survey earned below $20,000 per year, and half earned more than $20,000 per year, according to a recent survey. Their median wage rose to just $32,000 after the amnesty, said the survey, which was sponsored by the pro-amnesty Center for American Progress. But even though the survey had a disproportionally large share of college graduates, the illegals’ median wage is still lower than the $33,500 median wage earned by Americans aged 16 to 34, ensuring that few of the young illegals will pay more in taxes than they receive in federal or state welfare and benefits

Breitbart News compiled a list of 50 of the 2,139 DACA recipients who have had their temporary protected status revoked due to crimes including a”felony criminal conviction; a significant misdemeanor conviction; multiple misdemeanor convictions; gang affiliation; or arrest of any crime in which there is deemed to be a public safety concern,” according to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) agency.

The list of crimes includes cases of torture, murder, and rape of American citizens at the hands of DACA recipients. DACA recipients have also been charged with many other crimes, including human and drug trafficking.

Finally, the participants in the press conference did not acknowledge a moral duty to Americans. For example, the speakers did not note how the illegal population — 11 million at least — affects American students and employees by driving down wages and uses tax resources and education slots sought by young Americans.

We don't want any illegal aliens or their spawn in our country, no matter their age, where they came from, what they're doing, or why they came here. We want this insane nightmare to end and we want them all out of the country pronto!!!

I really doubt that Jesus advocated the unlawful invasion of a country.

Religion doesn't have anything to do with US immigration law, nor should it.

    Excerpt:

Romans 13:1–7 makes it abundantly clear that God expects us to obey the laws of the government. The only exception to this is when a law of the government forces us to disobey a command of God (Acts 5:29). Illegal immigration is the breaking of a government’s law. There is nothing in Scripture that contradicts the idea of a sovereign nation having immigration laws. Therefore, it is rebellion against God to unlawfully enter another country. Illegal immigration is a sin.

Hmmmm, then our whole country is a big fat sin then, because we had a revolution and threw the government "authorities" out of here, all over .... taxes.

You will always show yourself either pathetically stupid or the grandest of hypocrites whenever you try to mix government and religion.

The fact of the matter is we don'tlike illegal aliens who violate our laws, laws that are written and passed to keep them out of here. We don't have immigration laws because of religion, we have them to keep people out of here and control how many people come into our country. It's not about God or Scripture, it's about the numbers of how many can come here and succeed without stealing that success from the rest of US.

Exactly. When the pharisees tried tricking Jesus by asking him if we should pay taxes, he responded, after asking to see a coin with Caesar's picture on it....render to Caesar what is Caesar's and render to God what is God's. Meaning that we should obey God, but we should also obey laws here on earth as well. And like you said, unless a law tries to make us disobey God.

Oh, and by the way MW....as you know, God hating, atheist liberals aren't exactly the ones who should be trying to tell us what God or Jesus want from us. It's more like the other way around. They are the heathens, not us.
