Isabel Garcia- Update...
Isabel Garcia-Deputy Pima County Public Defender-Needs to Go-UPDATE
Original article here
http://missbethsvictorydance.blogspot.c ... ublic.html
This story is starting to pick up some traction and we need to keep up the pressure on Pima County Administrator Chuck Huckelberry [contact information below], the State Bar of Arizona and the ethics review boards of the Bar and Pima County Merit Rules and Personnel Policies [Pima County Human Resources].
Speaking of the Pima County Merit Rules and Personnel Policies, they can be found here. Isabel Garcia has violated Rule 7-119 [Rules of Conduct] and the disciplinary procedures are addressed under Rule 12 [Disciplinary Actions, Administrative Suspension and Administrative Suspension; specifically Rule 12.1 C 10 and 12]. I know people who were fired for "dirty" emails on county time--Garcia's behavior is far more egregious in scope and gravity.
I also reported this woman to the State Attorney and received this response via email:
If you believe a public official to have broken the criminal or ethical
laws- then please put it all in writing along with links or print outs
of your pictures, videos etc and send them to:
Fraud and Public Corruption Section
Office of the Arizona Attorney General
1275 W Washington St
Phoenix, AZ 85007-2926
We cannot take complaints on the internet or phone still. Only in writing.
I would strongly suggest taking this action as well and keep flooding them with reports.
It's interesting to note the media in Tucson [the notable exception, of course, being Jon Justice' morning show on 104.1 The Truth, from 6-9am Monday through Friday, who first broke the story] has yet to pick up this story but has, in fact, buried it, despite the outcry from the citizens of Tucson wanting investigation and exposure. Of course, Garcia is a democrat and figures she's protected.
However. Legal, taxpaying citizens of Tucson, those who pay Garcia's wage, have spread the word far and wide. Michelle Malkin has two stories about this incident, "Unhinged in Arizona: Open Borders mob, led by public official, ravages Joe Arpaio effigy" here and "Tucson open-borders official gloats about effigy-beating here". So far, there are 211 comments on the first article and 39 on the second article. Some of those comments are hilarious, yet a few bring home a point people are noticing and it's not a pretty point.
Some of the comments from "Unhinged":
RedDog said: Dang! Does that chick holding up the effigy in the lead still photo look like Linda Blair or what!? eeeeeeeeee!

Someone mentioned the Frances Semler matter. She was vilified, demonized and harassed by the hate group laraza for being a member of the minutemen, until she resign rather than put up with any more of their crap.
Semler certainly did not incite anyone to riot or show such blatant disrespect for a law enforcement official. The hate-group NCLR violated Ms. Semler's right to free speech, because they did not agree with Ms, Semler's views.
Isabel Garcia HAS violated her terms of office and should be fired and disbarred. Why was it ok to stifle Ms. Semler's "freedom" but not Ms. Garcia's? They were polar opposites.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

This new article is from Isabel Garcia's right hand at Derechos Humanos, Kat Rodriguez and will apparently run in Friday's Tucson Citizen. Notice how she manipulates...
This is what the people constanly perpetuate, including Congresman Raul Grijalva. "right to be free from his unconstitutional interpretation of the laws." They have this belief that if law is bad in their point of view, defy the law. This is what Isabel and Grijalva believe. Grijalva has written me this before in a letter. Kat Rodriguez is also a lawyer!

Guest opinion: They meant Joe no harm
Destroying piñata symbolized protesters' opposition to Arpaio's abuse of power
KAT RODRIGUEZ
Tucson Citizen
Derechos Humanos, along with other community groups, called for a protest July 10 at Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio's book-signing at the Barnes & Noble in Tucson.
Because of his outrageous police actions in Phoenix-area communities, and his political views on immigration issues, many of us have vowed that he will not come into our town without hearing from those of us who support the thousands of workers and their families who have borne the brunt of his narrow-minded, ignorant policies.
U.S. citizen and undocumented children alike have suffered separation from their mothers, fathers and siblings.
People have lost their homes and families have separated, their whole lives being violently disrupted by Arpaio.
As a public official, he should know the facts:
Immigrants have contributed and continue to contribute to our society. They are human beings entitled to respect for their human rights, including the right to work and survive and the right to be free from his unconstitutional interpretation of the laws.
The burning of an effigy of a political leader - or in this case, the hitting of a piñata - is not a simulation of physical harm to that person but rather a symbol of opposition to that person's wielding of power.
Contrary to a recent Tucson Citizen column and a local radio talk show, people throughout history have burned effigies of leaders and politicians to express disagreement of those individuals, their actions and use of power.
This is only done for the person in power, who makes decisions or sets policy.
Thus a border militia, police officer, citizen, migrant or Cesar Chavez would be inappropriate targets for such symbolism.
They do not have power, do not make policy and are not responsible for the current situation.
Our hitting of a piñata with the likeness of Arpaio, whom we disagree with in policy and practice, was exactly that type of protest.
The piñata was a symbol of Arpaio's racist, violent and brutal policies.
The youths did not hit Arpaio; they struck at the policies that keep us fearful of each other and that have caused so much pain to so many hardworking men, women and their children.
We were not saying we wanted Arpaio physically harmed in any way.
This is a ridiculous spin on an action that has been done for many years as a public show of displeasure with a leader.
We stand for the principles of peace and justice. We live in a very precarious moment in history, in which human beings are being demonized and scapegoated, exploiting the ugly and fearful in all of us.
We have gone about seeking change as has been historically done in this country, with marches, protests, vigils, etc.
To twist the beating of a piñata to such an extreme degree as to suggest we promote physical violence against him tells us that nothing is known about what we do, stand for or believe.
On a daily basis in Arizona, Arpaio inflicts violence, abuse and xenophobia with a badge.
To pull focus from this level of violence and ignore the division and tension that have resulted is irresponsible.
We expect more of an analysis from those who should be scrutinizing public officials.
Sadly, the wasting of more than $41 million in taxpayer money was pushed aside. Tactics of torture and violence were ignored and the deaths of inmates and persecution of working men and women were disregarded - as an empty piñata was given center stage.

Does Joe Arpaio beat, torture, physically harm illegal aliens in any way? What violence is he inflicting? What abuse? Is she really THAT mentally unstable that she would slander him in such a public way?Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I think it is a hate crime. In Maine a guy rolled a pigs head into a mosque and he was up on a hate crime. He blew out his brains in a parking lot about a month or so later.
We need to get AG's from all states involved to put on the pressure so this scum prosecutor loses her job. How would you like to be on the other side of her in court, if you were up against a illegal that murdered your family member? She would rather you went to prison! Let's see how long it takes before she is G-O-N-E!
Copy the article and mail to your Attornry General.
