'Most wanted' immigration fugitive arrested in NJ

EAST ORANGE, N.J. (AP) U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials say they've one of the agency's 10 most wanted immigration fugitives in New Jersey.

Calvin Inswood was picked up Tuesday in East Orange. Officials say the 46-year-old Jamaica native has a criminal history spanning 30 years.

ICE spokesman Harold Ort says it's not known if Inswood has retained a lawyer.

Inswood was ordered deported in 1997 after serving time for a conviction. He failed to surrender to authorities for removal and has been classified as a fugitive since that time.

ICE placed him on its Top Ten Most Wanted Criminal Alien list in 2003, the year the list was established.

Inswood has also been featured on the TV program ''America's Most Wanted.''
